The fact that Trigg is still able to keep his job after all the dodgy dealings speaks volumes about not only the culture of the Crows, but the AFL in general.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Please ask what the factual actual benefits are to the sanfl. We know why the crows want to have reserves, to be on a level laying field with Melbourne, Richmond, st Kilda.

Im not sure Westies would lose many, certainly doesn't seem too many of their fans passionate about the cause, the one club that has been pretty passive about all of this.

can you ask Triggy, about the cost of a Crows reserves team in the VFL and the cost of going into the SANFL when some clubs are requesting close to $100,000 per year?

Money. Thats it. And not really alot either.
I dont think teams will lose suppters to a Ravens or a whatever, but I can't see the benifits for the SANFL. Easy to see the benifits for the AFL teams.

Trigg is struggling!!!!!

Asked how will this help SANFL and gave nothing !!! Will help clubs develope mumbled something about cross memberships.

Crows are backing out of top up players happy with any solution SANFL decides wtf ?????

Says they aren't bluffing re Ammos. Also Conceded there is no perfect solution.

I'm still none the wiser what benefits there are ??? Would of liked the commentators to press him on his fumbled answer of we will help the clubs with developement. Cross memberships. As It was extremely unconvincing.

As an SANFL fan I certainly was thinking and ????

They've got nothing tbh!!!

You get to ask trigg some questions, and you ask "where the crows would play in the amateurs, and about crow/sanfl club supporters feelings". Wasted opportunity there. Nice to know Phil H hopes it all works out, being a crow supporter.

Just making the point that there a lot of people that follow the Crows and if not properly handled it will force those people to choose and if that happens both will loose.

Very impressed you were listening TSG

well one side of the argument is going to lose anyway, and if the crows get their way the SANFL clubs will lose a hell of a lot more

Trigg was very very unconvincing but at least he says there is no rush for the clubs to make a decision

lets hope all Clubs follow the lead of some others and have information sessions

I'm sure those that follow the crows will find the change easier to handle than an sanfl supporter who doesn't follow any afl team at all.

You blokes are ruthless! :)
At least they got him to repeat his promise of needing unanimous support from SANFL clubs to join ...

So unless Norwood rolls over, which won't happen, it's bye bye Cows.

You'd think if they've worked on it for 18 months, they'd have a strong business plan with identifiable benefits to "counter" any opposition. 18 months and a half arsed proposal. Why no financial numbers?
