Unfortunately that is true, and the pattern then tends to pass on down the family.

from what i have seen, there has been no more vehicles fined for driving unregistered this last financial year, than for the previous one, or the one before that. even though there are now many more detection methods for unregistered vehicles.

which departments did you ring by chance? my phone hasnt rung all day...

Tipper working in the project dept would not allow your phone to ring! And I stand by my info.

you can stand by it all you like. it is still wrong

there is no such department as "the freedom of information act", that is an act of parliament. enquiries under the act usually must be in writing, and have a fee attached, and certainly take longer than a few minutes. you have made up information to back up the flawed info released by a talkback radio station. are you leon byner?

ill stick by the actual stats that i have seen from the database that i work with every day. the rate of unregistered cars, or cars being renewed late, has not increased since labels were removed over two years ago now.

even if they had, labels are not returning any time soon. the only state that will persist with them after January (as of January 1 victoria will no longer have them either) next year will be queensland, and i would think they wont be long to remove them too. they serve no useful purpose, and are actually a less accurate way of determining the registration status of a vehicle than other methods that are now available. ezyreg app is your friend ;)

Now, I am not going to play with words! "the freedom of information act" was tabled last week in the parliament. on this issue.

fair enough then, but i was just going on what you said last week. you said you contacted the department of the freedom of information act. i can only comment on what you wrote so i apologise if i have misinterpreted.

i guess you mean the information aquired under the freedom of information act was tabled? im curious to know where they got the information from. as i said, the stats i have seen with my own eyes, extracted from the database while i watched, dont agree that what you say is true. also, just because something came up in parliament, does not make it any more right...

meanwhile, if you think dropping my name, and the area in which i work will somehow intimidate me into agreeing with you, it wont work. however, revealing or attempting to reveal another posters identity is generally frowned upon i believe, you might want to edit your last post.

if you want to name drop im happy to continue this in pm, or from your hints you probably know my last name too, which means you would have my email address as well, shoot me an email and we can stop cluttering up the shits thread :)

Convincing my missus to see "this is the end" this weekend
Then I showed her the trailer. And she changed her mind.

Dammit.

Now it's the heat or the internship.

YES! I agree wholeheartedly with this one.

I had an aunty pass on last year, and they played Ed Sheeran's 'The A Team' at the funeral. The song is about a crack-addicted prostitute...

I agree as well. Surely you would check the lyrics before you put a song on at a funeral.

Ive told people I would want Stairway to Hell by The Amity Affliction played at my funeral.

Brother-in-law carked it the other day.

His daughters (my nieces) are fighting over which songs to play.

One wants to play song her old man's favourite songs.

The other has obviously Googled "most popular funeral songs."

And I've unwittingly become the funeral song ref!

The Google search method is simply lazy.

When I die, I want songs that represent me to be played. In due time, I'll actually have the playlist written into my will.
