That leaves Sacred Heart, who are still a chance to play finals, and Henley, who I thought were more than competitive! Henleys D grade is a chance to win the flag in div 7!!!!!
So why question the current system in place!!!!!

tomo wrote:I can not see any issues that even warrant this discussion!, has anyone else noticed that flinders park (c and d grade) will be playing finals in div 7, Broadview (c grade are gonna get relegated to div, which will be an entire c grade comp other than Northpines who will also get relegated. Northpines are an A grade side, however they only won one game and I think Broadview even beat them.

They would actually probably play netball rules - no contact, obstuction and must be min 3 feet at all times from person with the ball

if the league opted for 9 teams per div (excluding div 1) this is what Div 7 would look like (with C-Grades playing elsewhere)
Mawson Lakes
Central United
Mitchell park
Ingle Farm
Houghton
Smithfield
Angle Vale
Flinders Uni
North Pines
what an awesome looking comp aye

Now that is an awesome Division. My humblest apologies to those clubs in the mix trying to change that result. Sorry marbles but at this time of year if you have a heartbeat, the only thing you are focussed on is promotion and relegation, AND FINALS. Your system is flawed and I give the league far more credibility than to go down it's path.

And yankman u call the new system flawed, firstly how? And secondly how is the current system not flawed when 2 of the biggest clubs in the comp hav lost 25
Percent of its internal participation by having to drop their dgrades sides. Now thats a big chunk of ttg and broadview wiped off the map.
theres a big f##king hole in div 6 at this very moment cos cgraders were forced to play agraders... Blokes jumped ship and the league has lost 2 teams

Because my friend the SAAFL is about A grade and B grade clubs, and the rest is for fun. Full stop end of story.

Yes that has merit. BUT let A grade clubs be down to at least Div 6. I am sure they have earned the right.
