Thanks RR, and thanks to Kylie and Shannon for helping me out, I ran out of pages with the whole outer wing still untouched

we collected 363 signatures (3 on the back of a page), there would have been less than 80 say no, most of those were fence sitters (and North supporters  ) and there was only a couple definitely for the Crows and Port to come in (one was an old duck who yelled at me saying that it will be the end of the SANFL if we don't let them in) would have loved to have ripped back at her but took the diplomatic stance

I'd have signed one by now if I'd seen one. Will one be in circulation at Glenelg next week? If not then are we able to register ourselves on the petition by some other manner, eg online?

1/ what is your level of support for your AFL club (member, season ticket holder, sponsor etc.)?

2/ what is your level of support for your SANFL club (member, season ticket holder, sponsor etc.)?

3/ How many AFL games do you attend a year?

4/ How many SANFL games do you attend?

5/ If you support a SA based AFL side, who will you support when they play your SANFL team?

I'd be interested in seeing what responses you give compared to those that don't want them in

1) AFL Club - Crows gold member, season ticket holder

2) SANFL Club - South member, home & away game season ticket

3) attend 15 afl games (inc interstate)

4) attend 15-20 sanfl games

5) would support South

History stands still for no-one :)

What does that mean ? Why would you "smile" on writing it ? ! If you are trying to intimate that NO AFL IN THE SANFL means no change or progress then a)you have your cliches/sayings confused and b) you just don't get it ! You are being a sheep and following the radio pencil necks e.g. McDermott etc; have an original thought please.

I have plenty of original thoughts - just because they may be disagreeable to you does not make me a sheep.

People have differing opinions on the various issues here, and there is no scientific formula at work to say that one or the other is correct.

All I mean is that things (in this case, the SANFL), are constantly changing and evolving because of many interacting factors nor whether it is for the better or worse.

I've got 65 signatures. 25 when legs played Sturt and the rest (40) yesterday. Only 1 person I asked yesterday didn't sign it.

It appears as though a huge percentage of people who go to SANFL don't want AFL reserves.

The bulk of the people who want AFL reserves currently do not attend the SANFL.

It would therefore be a brave business to give non customers what they want and go against what your current customers around. A dangerous business model.

Should've done what I did yesterday, went over and introduced myself to the Port Adelaide Cheer Squad and asked them for their copy of the petition. Lovely folk.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
