I think Pulteney would have to be a MASSIVE chance of stealing 4th spot from Mitchell Park by the end of the season and grab the home elimination final..

The two face off this weekend, and with Pulteney playing FU in the last round, Mitchell Park really need to beat them this weekend to put themselves in the box seat, but going on recent results unless they take the smart option and stack their side cant see that happening..

I may be completely wrong and I guess we will have to wait and see in a few weeks, but school holidays have finished now which means Pulteney will lose a few players throughout their grades to school footy. Don't rule yourself out of 5th spot yet PG because if my gut feeling with Pulteney is correct they will only win their last game against Flinders Uni and I don't think even that is a guarantee. Watch this space to see if I'm wrong because I know that if I am a few people will be happy to tell me about it

With the A's and B's firmly in the finals you would be dropping a few back to help your team get there wouldnt you PG? ;)

Ingle Farm might have to employ the Tommy Raudonikis infamous "Cattledog" call from 97 state of origin vs PNU haha

Well done to PNU today, we tried hard and threw everything at them today but their class rose to the top. As bad as losing is, I can't help feel proud and happy of the way we applied ourselves you large periods of the game.

Unfortunately Pulteney beating Mitchell Park has put an end to our finals chances given our poor percentage, which is disappointing because I believe when we are playing to our potential we are in the best 5 teams - beat Lockleys earlier in the season, lost to TOS by 1pt and beat Pulteney by 10 goals earlier in the season.

However we cost ourselves with a couple of losses we should've won, and from a club perspective we are more focussed on success in the A & b grade and C grade to develop these players to push up. As a club I think we have had a successful season and the C grade have come along in leaps and bounds..

Now to focus on closing out the season with a couple of wins!

Interesting to see Para Hills only lost by 1pt to Lockleys! That and Lockleys escape over the improved Pulteney makes me think that TOS are firming as the 2nd fav with Pulteney closing fast.

That's a great effort from Para Hills. I saw them the week before and they were unbelievably young and lost by 25 goals.

Trinity play Pulteney this week. Good chance to see if Pulteney are the real deal.

To be honest glad you guys are gone as you threw it all at us today and I reckon you are in the top 3 we have played this year. I will say well coached and plenty of talent in the group, made it real tough today

Couple of negatives from today ;
1. Umpiring was awful both ways and detracted from the game, it also could have potentially turned the game into a powder keg and that's not good for Footy. I'm not having a go at IF footy club I'm just saying the umpires were very poor today and at times made me not want to be there. Same old shit, just want consistency and a hint of fairness
2. One of my best mates broke his collar bone in 3 places and copped a fairly average serve from several areas. I put that down to passion and heat of the moment but hope that no-one was actually happy he got injured but Jesus when a bloke breaks a bone in 3 places you don't abuse him. To Beady it's devastating as he will win back to back B and Fs and has no chance of playing in a finals series he has led us towards. I know Bedgy likes hard footy but even you mate must feel for our bloke. I guess the real negative is the injury but yeah some of the comments were a little sub par
3. Time keeper clearly blew 3 seconds early ;)

I don't want to sound like a sook coz today was a great battle and one of my best mates injury was one of those things. It's a surreal thing for me personally as I started my footy career 32 years ago at Rowe Park and I know today was the last day I will ever play where I started.

Thanks Ingle Farm and I sincerely hope "the pleasure machine" leads your A grade to a premiership

OMG I'm sincerely sorry to hear that! That is a devastating blow, I most definitely feel for the bloke, it was a very heavy impact hurt me like buggery and I heard the crunching/cracking actually thought I had broken my ribs. I didn't hear the comments or abuse I was too busy trying to act like I wasn't hurting even though I was in a world of pain! Had others realised the extent/seriousness of the injury I don't think it would've been like that, NO one wants to see players injured especially so close to the finals.
I wish his a very speedy recovery, bright future for him and I suspect he will win plenty more b&f's in the future - good size, hard tough footballer and worked like a dog!

I believe it was a goal after the siren and from what I've been told it was a bit dodgey.

Which way? PH to win the game or Lockleys?

Actually I heard it was 3 seconds late - just wanting to watch you streaming into an open goal taking bounces like you were Buddy Franklin then blow it before you kicked it!
