Watsons a pretty handy bowler and we don't really have a world class spinner, could he play as the fourth seamer (tie them down from one end type) rather than a spinner and bat at 8 lol

Yep, why are we wasting our time with a 36 year old.
There is a reason he hasnt played tests in the past, he is simply no good.
Put a young opener like Maddinson in and give him the whole series
No good trying quick fixes, we have to admit we are not good enough and write the next few years off and start building a capable test squad
