Think people need to remember it is their D grade side - some clubs struggle this time of the season to field a C grade let alone a D grade, and at the end of the day it may inconvenience sides a fraction but a week off this time of the year would be welcomed by some, but the division overall is better off having Broadview involved than not..

Says you who will happily gain a few extra quality players for your team.

Incorrect, I will play the same guys as I do every other week - only two players coming down and they were both scheduled to come back to the C grade before this week anyway.. as far as i'm concerned it would not be fair and be a waste of time to stack my side, if my team wants to play finals they need to earn it themselves..

p.s. i'm not sure how relevant that comment is to the discussion - whether Broadies pulled the pin on their D grade or just kept forfeiting, I would still be in the same position having the B grade not playing :?

I seen the 1st quarter of the 7R game between Flinders Uni and Flinders Park, I thought it was played at a really good standard and I thought Uni looked quite good, and I believe led at QTR time 6.1 to 5.1 so VERY surprised to see the end score  .. what happened?!

Wow, just looking at the results online now, so they only kicked one more goal? That's seems strange.

I watched the first half of the flinders Uni reserves last week (before the weather got the better of me down at SHOCS) and they looked very good for a reserves side. Had some very good players around the ball who were very physical especially in the wet conditions. But yeah that was last week.

So is the door closed on Uni and hearts now? I have no idea about their upcoming draw though

Can't way to see the top of the table clash down at Rowe Park tomorrow. I'm going to keep a close eye on one of Div 7's most underrated players. He goes by the name of Dr Brian Parsons and has been stitching up opposition forward pockets like my grandma stitched me sweaters. And that's often!
