Goodbye Trott you flog stain. Harris selection looks a good one, just need the other 3 bowlers to pitch in with one or two each today and it would be a very good day for the Aussies

Do Umpires even worry about no-balls anymore? I wonder how many are missed, on balls that aren't wickets, now that they just review every wicket.

The umpire would be missing many no balls. They showed a side on replay of shot that went for 4 and that one I felt was a no ball but it wasn't called. So it wasn't surprising that Sidds bowled a no ball.

Personally I don't think they should worry about no balls, just leave that to the third umpire, maybe that will decrease the amount of howlers the central umpire makes

I thought the same on one of the replays and it was Agar bowling.

Having said that he and Siddles have both been called from the bits I've seen.

I bowled 2 no balls in my career. It's just not good enough.

Having said that I'm with Tubby Taylor. If the field umpire misses it then leave it be. But as long as the rules are the way they are please grow a brain Sidds

If the 3rd umpire is going to do it then it should be every ball. Generally if a bowler bowls a no-ball they will adjust their run up to fix it, if Siddle had bowled quite a few no balls prior to that but wasn't called then he can't adjust.

Not saying it's an excuse as he should know where he is on the crease but it does beg the question whether umpires are more inclined these days to actively make a non-decision knowing it can/will be reviewed.

If the field umpire can't pick it up on the field then I doubt that it is any real advantage to the bowler anyway.

I'd be thinking closer to 350, run rate has been up at 4.6 for the last 10 overs.

Our over rate is a disgrace, will be at least 15 overs left to bowl at scheduled stumps. The way we go we might bowl 6 in the extra half hour.
With the price of tickets in Englan id be very ahhoyed at this, id want 10% of my money back.

Should just make them play until the overs are bowled and give 5 or 10 runs for every over that isnt bowled. Reckon they might get the overs in then.
