Matt Thomas dropped from Port, maybe a late in for us.
If Grigg doesnt get a gig hopefully they release him back to us

If Mitch Grigg is not twice as good as Tambling or Callahan then I am a self edited.
Hate to lose him but he has certainly deserved his chance at AFL. His foot disposal is magnificent.

Who knows how the official people vote, but in the Norwood fans' player of the year voting, I'm pretty confident that he'd be somewhere in the top 1 right now.

I'd place him much higher 'Simon'.
;)

p.s. Hey SDK, I think you'll find it's Callinan mate.

Are you serious?

Mitch is a VERY talented youngster, indeed. I think he WILL make his AFL debut this weekend and prove to be a good player at the next level...

I hope you are only trying to bait someone, which I'm happy to have a nibble at, but, with all due respect to Mitch, he is NOT as good a player as Ian Callinan...

Maybe, in 5 or 6 years time, Grigg will be able to lay claim to that, but Wingnut would take the points over the young fella, right now...

I agree that Mitch has a LONG way to go, to be as good as Callinan has been over a long period of time .. Has potential, but we all know how often that doesn't convert, hopefully it will for Mitch.

Obviously haven't seen a lot of Callinan this year, is age catching up with him or has he been injury plagued? As his output seems below that of what we've come to expect from him previously.

This is a tired old argument, if we must what about Central & West having the same song musically?

No one gives a stuff about who had the song first either by the way!

Do we need to go into the Gay Bay song again?
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

Quite obviously there is bias in that comment, SDK :o

Perhaps the same from my end but at least I answered with logic and common sense ;)

And show some respect and spell his name right , SDK...

It is C A L L I N A N not Callahan, mate and you know it...

You still haven't forgiven Nutta for that great (legal) shepherd on Flippa in the 2010 GF, have you? :D

I know it's all old news now Phil, but the question remains ......
How can a 'shepherd/hit' be legal if a player's jaw gets broken ?
