Yeah mate at the School

Why's that mate? Just out of curiosity

We play one match there every year. It's just part of keeping a close relationship with the school. Plus it's good for the old scholars to go back and play on that deck - the surface and facilities are as good as you will come accross.
We call the day the past players memorial day in honour of those club men no longer with us.
Should be a great day, crucial games in both grades!

I'm tipping pretty boy Hugh Johnson Schroeder from rosewater to kick a big bag this week. Has been in very good form and has been heard at training to say he is the most elite and gifted forward in division 6. I think he'll show everyone why this week.

Tipped it well, up and about with another 6. Can't see anyone stopping this lad.

Man you Rosewater blokes talke some tripe! Can't wait till CLG shut your gobs in the major round ;)

Lets just hope jugs that all our players turn up come finals!

the most dangerous team is the one who hasnt lost a game yet and continues along with 64%..getting out to nearly 10 goals in front of WOSFC before some late goals made the result look better! :)

Yes your'e right Zed. Won't lose top spot now and that's a massive advantage come finals time. :) They can rest the weary get any injuries in check and have everyone cherry ripe for for the finale.

I know Mark Garner doesn't play with a full deck, but with the amount of cards he's picking up, he's certainly getting close

First time he has been done this year, Mark is brother has been up a couple of times. Not sure if the yellow cards suspension goes towards the 12 game tally.

second time actually..got a 1 game suspension for getting 2 yellow cards in the same game versus wosfc earlier this year..not sure why its not on the saafl site..sorry but both brothers have zero discipline and no respect for their club, team mates or coach..if they did they would grow up and just play football..

Central United have an easyish run home, could they sneak into 5th spot for the first time this year after Round 18 and play finals? Provided they still have a team of course and don't have 21 blokes out suspended

The last 4 weeks have so many possibilities. Top 2 set. WOS and Lockleys very unlikely to miss. BOS / Lakes / United all have destiny in their own hands in the run home. Tough for MP to make it and Uni all but gone I think.

Round 15
BOS v Rosewater
Adel Uni v United
WOS v ML
MP v CLG
Lockleys - bye

Round 16
Lockleys v Adel Uni
ML v BOS
United v MP
CLG v WOS
Rosewater - bye

Round 17
Rosewater v ML
WOS v United
MP v Lockleys
BOS v CLG
Adel Uni - bye

Round 18
Lockleys v WOS
United v BOS
CLG v Rosewater
Adel Uni v MP
ML - bye

lakes would have to win 2 of their 3 games left at a minimum to play finals..with a bye last round..
bosfc has to win the same..if units win all 4 they will get in..if bosfc lost 3 of 4 and mlfc won 2 of 3 and cufc won 3 of 4 then bosfc could miss out..
last round of the year will maybe pan out as lockleys and wosfc playing off for 3rd spot..units and bosfc playing off for 5th spot..mpfc and aufc playing off for relegation..if mpfc can win a game before that they are safe i would say..clgfc needs 2 wins from 4 to fully secure 2nd spot..lots of possibilities..7 games will probably get you into finals..last year 10 games and 53% wasnt enough!

With four rounds to go who knows where anyone will finish bar Rosewater. Z, if ifs and ands were pots and pans there would be no need for tinkers. If any of ML, CU, BOS, MP or Uni upset any of the higher teams it will go a long way to help their cause, but then if they lose a game which they should win they will be right back into the __it. The one thing I agree with you is that the Garner brothers need to pull their heads in and play for the jumper and not only themselves. The club has to be bigger than the player - just have to get that through to them for the last couple of matches if CU wants to play finals.

But most clubs have one who doesn't play for the club first. Look at the AFL at the momment - Stevey J 4th time at the MRP/tribunal and found or taken the guilty plea since round 22 last season and he is still playing for the Cats (when he is not suspended). Every player has their importance to a club.

BOS to make the 5, with the Lakers next 3 games v the teams above them and the bye in the last game. Relegation to go to round 18 between MP and UNI. Rossies are a cut above the rest with CLG their only danger. Just my thoughts unless the big wet weather changes things. Let's hope it does with MP knocking off your boys Saturday Zed. Miracles do happen.

One thing is for sure zedman, CLG have lucked out in getting to play at Mitchell park this week with these conditions. Holds up well in the rain and not a drop of mud anywhere on the oval.

looking forward to the triple header bloods..its an excellent oval and surface..hoping we get a 2-3 hour break from the wind and rain around 2.00pm :)

expecting tough games in both the A and B grade but i think your C grade will get the points fairly easily..
