It's the difference between your rank by total points and rank by league ladder. 0 means they are the same for you. - means you are lower on the league ladder than you perhaps should be.

i find it a very interesting stat. it really shows how having a consistently high average score doesnt automatically translate into wins. Trader has pretty much always been ranked in the top 4 on average score, but is now in danger of relegation due to not enough wins.

last season my luck rating would have been quite positive for most of the season. i had lucky wins early which kept em in the top eight. however i plumeted later and was lucky to avoid relegation myself. having a much better scoring season this year though, and hopefully i can continue that in finals.

luck rating is a great idea some very interesting ratings in our league

well i got 8 out of 9 picks right this week, i must be getting better, despite my best efforts of putting the kiss of death on my ladder rivals

how close is our league at the moment? only 2 teams didnt score over 2100 points, and nine of us were 2300+!!

some very important games coming up this week for finals, with 4 teams 1 win out of the eight they will pull out all the stops to make it. just a quick summation of where each team is at below.

the cowboys are guaranteed finals, and you would think they have stamped their name on the minor premiership, 2 wins clear of second.

the sinners would need to have a disasterous three losses to drop from the eight on percentage, and i doubt that will happen. i expect them to remain in the top 4.

the cants, blunderers and wombats are 2 games clear of 9th spot, with three to play, but cant be complacent with the high scores across the board of our league. one loss could cost them several spots as the teams below have better percentage. they all need to keep winning if they want a top 4 spot, and if they want to guarantee finals.

the hawkers, cracks and cats are in the eight, but havent secured their spots yet. if results go their way they could easily snatch a top four spot. wins will be vital and i suspect all three coaches will be using all their tricks to get them.

the cans, bombers, jrunks, and ankles are all pushing for finals action. any games amongst themselves, or teams in the above group will be crucial in the final push for placings. the jrunks and ankles could do with a big win to help their cause as their percentage isnt the best.

lodge 12 and the gapings you would think are looking to next season. mathematically they could make the 8, they are only 2 wins adrift, but they may have left their run too late with only 3 rounds remaining.

Trader has already engraved his name on the Hard Luck Hogg trophy this season. with a luck rating in the negative double figures he will be pushing to avoid relegation. they are a better side than their ladder position indicates, but will need to put it all together to avoid being banished to divvy IV

the wonders are another with a negative luck rating, just not as bad as trader. with some great recent scores they could upset the run of the sides they are yet to face, but will have to have everything go their way to avoid relegation.

the willies and achievers have had a rough season. despite scoring well at times, they just havent got the wins on the board. barring a miracle, they can both look to div IV next season to redeem their sides. unfortunately someone has to finish at the foot of the ladder, and there is no shame in doing that in our league, which has been by far the toughest i have ever been involved in to date.

Another loss for me, not surprising really! haha.

Our league average this season has been 2059, and I've lost 6 times with scores of 2,059 or more, those being:
2059, 2115, 2148, 2151, 2196 and 2270 - the last one was really hard to take!
And just for the record, I've got 0 wins with scores under our league average! hehe.

League Ranking 1,265 - continuing to climb, great work lads.

Interesting games in the relegation battle this week, with 13th placed Gaping Anus vs 16th placed Trader, and 14th placed Ankles vs 15th placed OneWinWonders.
Points and percentage will almost certainly mean to two winners will survive by the skin of their teeth and the two losers are relegated.

Out in straight sets and a promising season ends empty handed. Had my fair share of luck during the season, but fair to say the SC Gods evened it out at finals time!

POD players Shaw (37), Roughead (60), Ellis (59), Martin (25) and Kennedy (55) gave me no chance, although fair to say the Wombats had some poor luck with players too .. **** this game!!!
