Now Jim and Wristy as 2 blokes who understand the game come on are you 2 serious? Are you 2 telling me live you didn't think shit his in trouble here? Come on

I thought it was doing a fair bit and might be sliding down leg at first look.
All I want is consistancy.
If that was given not out by Dar the decision would of stood, thats where the system is wrong, its either out or not.
I dont agree with the umpires decision crap, once it goes to review its either out or not, shouldnt go back to umps decisions

If the technology isn't reliable enough to be accurate with some of those "clipping the stumps" decisions, shouldn't the batsman get the benefit of the doubt?

It should. But in my opinion DRS was introduced to stop the 'howler' yet captains use it willy nilly. What is the answer? Mmm I don't know may be India know and just refuse to use it!

I'm not sure I believe the accuracy of the system.

I'd like to see an analysis of all dot balls whereby the actual trajectory of each ball is compared to a hawk eye prediction from the batting crease. Do this for a few thousand balls over time and then use this to calculate the expected margin of error, adding a 5% factor say.

Faark knows, maybe they do this already.

As others have stated, it should only be used to rid the game of howlers, not replace te umpire in 50/50 decisions.

How bout dont use it for LBW decisions.
Make it the only time a batsman can review LBW is if he is given out but thinks he hit the ball.

What the current system does show is the umpires are pretty close on most LBW decisions, the fact we are arguing about umpires call all the time proves that.
I would hate to see the system being changed to everything that is just clipping the stumps is out

More detail required please

Centenary Test is the greatest example.
Derek Randall was called back and went on to make a defiant century.
