Toolman has announced themselves as the team to beat by defeating an undermanned Jims TigerRoos outfit in this week's top of the table clash. This league is so close that the TigerRoos slipped to fourth as a result of the loss as FISH and the Mud Dogs won their matches to take advantage of the TigerRoos' loss. Eckys Fevolas and Professor Crow are making a claim for a top eight berth with Hips Don't Lie looking more like the Hippy Hippy Shake as they have dropped another match to a team below them on the ladder. This win by the Fevolas could be crucial on the run home but as we have seen lately, Professor Crow is back.

In the relegation battle The Bloods missed the opportunity to put an end to FOOTYLEDGENS ambitions in remaining in Division II when they well were well beaten by the Cub. Meanwhile Backyarders were shut out again and Delicous had a defeat that left a nasty taste in the mouth. Professor Crow and Crab Mustard both have a good percentage and look well placed to remain out of danger but the bottom four still favourites for the drop despite a late surge from FOOTYLEDGENS.

It was a good weekend for Professor Crow in the AFL and in Hogg Division II as the Professor landed himself a really big FISH. The Professor is certainly crowing after his big win and if they can make the finals I reckon they could do a bit of damage as they are scoring pretty well this season. FISH's loss sees them lose ground on their fellow top four contenders as Toolman and the TigerRoos got the bye and the Mud Dogs got down and dirty to ground the Crabs into the sand. Moneybrawl, Ecky and somehow browns boys all won thier matches on the weekend to look reasonably settled in the top eight.

Not so destiny's uncles who were beaten by a resurgent FOOTYLEDGENS who are hellbent on avoiding relegation after a shocking start to the season. The LEDGENS have now won three of their last four and backyarders in particular must be starting to get worried as FOOTYLEDGENS have a good percentage and have yet to play last placed Pidgeridoos. Other teams on five wins look a little better especially Crab Mustard who look too good to go down but need a few wins. Delicous is also good enough to stay up but needs the backyarders to keep losing and for FOOTYLEDGENS to halt their late charge.

Think I am going to need some divine intervention to get up over Delicious.

112 behind and the POD's are

Kennedy v Barlow
Suban v Ibbotson
Hibberd v Pittard
Boak v Hartlett

A dropout, green vest and an injury should enable me to get over the line otherwise I am ****.

With Watson subbed out I'll struggle to hold on to my lead against the fast finishing Backyarders.

Need Cornes to smash it up in the second half...

The SCLSU Mud Dogs have pulled off a stunning victory over top ranked Toolman to throw this premiership race wide open. The Muddies 2414 to have a comfortable win over Toolman who is ranked in the top ten of the Hogg this year and despite the loss is still the current league leader. The Muddies are looking a good thing for promotion next season in what can be a tough league to get out of as only two go up.

Big Al hasn't done as well this season as last but he rolled back the clock to last season and peeled off a league high 2491 which beats most comers in the Hogg this week. It was a pivotal win for BABB as they put the kibosh on the Crabs and kept in touch with the top eight. In relegation news FOOTYLEDGENS continues to make a nuiscance of themselves and they've claimed another win against top eight opposition in Jims TigerRoos. Cub's win sees the out of form Backyarders drop into the relegation zone even though their scoring picked up a bit this week. Meanwhile, Falrak has won the 'who cares' cup between the two absent coaches and his low scoring win will consign Pidgeridoo to the wooden spoon.

He's had an injured back nearly all year. I'd be playing Brown this week and giving Tommy a rest. If you have the trades look elsewhere his mobility is severely restricted at the moment.

Nice win for me. With a few wins in a row and some losses above me- an unlikely finals spot is now a distinct possibility!

Being out on the turps on Saturday has cost me the win against backyarders, didn't have the prescence of mind to take McEvoy off the field and use emergency Nicholls 121 score. Puts me back in the relegation zone with some tough opponents to come.

Toolman has stumbled to defeat 14th round of matches in Hogg Division II and the SCLSU Mud Dogs have swooped and are now top of the ladder after they cleaned up Falrak in a nice old juicy percentage booster. TEAM_FISH also put in a strong showing this week winning by 99 over Hips Don't Lie who are struggling to make up the ground they lost with a recent losing streak.

Teams in the bottom half of the eight had a good week with Jims TigerRoos getting done by Brown Boys and this has opened up a double chance spot for those within striking distance. There wasn't a lot of joy for teams currently outside the eight although the Backyarders ended a losing run against the Crabbies who got on the turps as you saw above. Not a great one to lose for the Mustard as they now drop into the relegation zone.

I seen you may have a few out, should be right though. I will have Stevie Knobson and Duffield out and Franklin doubtful. And I reckon one or more of my bombers Goddard, Heppel or Hibberd could get a rest. Really need Hirdy to give Daniher a game this week.
