I admire the rams for taking a step to be a better club and building a side takes time so lets just hope they can retain players next year and have a real crack. The league needs 7 strong teams.
A common theme also seems to be that this is a footy forum so lets talk footy yet within 2 posts we are back to reading crap again, more often than not in a language i can not understand. If you are going to get abusive, atleast spell the words right!!
It's good to see United and Mallala flying this year. Although it is not good my beloved Hummocks have lost 2 out of there last 3, i'm sure you would agree it adds more excitement to the league knowing the premiership is up for grabs for about 5 clubs. As a player it almost became boring week in week out knowing what the outcome of your game was going to be.

Most people would like to assume that everyone wants to play association but reality is, this is an ametuer competition and its good to be able to have a weekend off to do something else to break it up a bit.
i hear the balak runner got off his charge at the tribunal for kicking a mallala player. Balak fought hard for his innocence, which is disgraceful if he actually did kick an opposition player. Poor form balak!!!!!!!

The Best thing about the squad in recent years has been that everyone wants to be there, if you don't, Don't, But let them know otherwise you will be penalised.

Rooster i know a player who is not available for the game but went to training told the coach he was unavailable before training, still trained (which he didnt have to) the coach said ok thanks for telling me, found out last night the poor bloke still gets 1 week suspension. It was planned 3 months ago he wouldnt be here. Shame on the association board.]

Good call, lets just get on with the footy, you guys can argue about it somewhere else, it's just wasting everyones time.
The Roosters Predictions.
Hamley Bridge vs Hummocks/Watchman @ Hamley Bridge Hummocks to run back into form.
Two Wells vs Balaklava @ Two Wells The Roosters to just get over the Peckers in a tight one.
Virginia vs Mallala @ Virginia Hot pies, Cold...err...Rams?

Sure,, apart from Andy Evans and Broady the side lacks any real strength around the contest, which at this time of year you need. I would doudt whether Broady will play. The Rucks in Whiskey and Lowie look top shelf, but the on ballers which are named are all very good runners, but could get found out!
Does anyone know who they are playing??
Surely your kidding there Start. Toughness around the footy! The presence of whisky and the trio from mallala is enough to make anyone shiver. Imagine the year these young pies would be having with an effective clean tap ruckman. Real strength is not always everything, i think this year has shown that as broady has had very little impact in this comp. The footy is won in tight with quick decisive hands under pressure, not bloody hargy bargy rubbish, especially when the quality of opposition increases as it will. Toughness is all about head over the footy one grabbing it and hittin a team mate with it.
The team will however really miss joel wilson, he was and stillis the best at that, clean and hard at the footy. Great to watch!!

I know the player your talking about and you will probably find the Assoc Side Selectors will go in to bat for him. They are and should be taking a firm stand on players not making themselves available, we are a proud league and take pride in these games.
Would i be fair in saying that the player you are refering to didn't expect selection and organised something else originally?
