From the statement:

"I would encourage you to ask as many questions as you like as this important issue plays out. We will answer them all.

Just email them through to this address: keiththomas@pafc.com.au"

Wonder if he'll answer my questions?

Was just going to post the same. Keefy wants feedback so that's what I gave him. I suggest everyone does the same.

Well what is Keith worried about?? Fair enough he goes to the members in response to Rucci's article but then goes to the Press with the same "spiel" he and the PAFC have trotted out since this whole issue started! Surely the almost dead horse he is flogging will not get the selfish wants of the PAFC over the line! Give it up FFS!

We should all bombard his email address with our thoughts on this matter!

I wonder how welcome he would be at his old SANFL club these days?

My reply.
"Keith,
What the hell happened to the successful One Club platform that "Port Magpies will NEVER be the Power Reserves?
How can Port Magpies be seen as an SANFL side if they're full of AFL players?
Smoke and mirrors mate.
David Koch, yourself, some PAFC supporters and the PAFC are treating the SANFL competition and it's supporters disgracefully. The arrogance is galling!
FWIW, I'm a Sturt member and support Adelaide in the AFL and have sent a letter to Rob Chapman that I'll never support any push for AFL reserves in the SANFL League."

Either way Thomas and the PAFC knew this would get press coverage - that was the whole idea! All KT is doing on behalf of the Board etc. is trying to point the blame at someone else when the time comes that the Magpies get consigned to the scrap heap. It is ultimately the wish of the PAFC AFL Arm and Ken Hinckley to want a Reserves side not the SANFL's yet Port by it's unrealistic selfish wants are forcing the decision onto the SANFL! Do think Ken Hinkley who has been in SA here less than a year gives a fat rat's clacker about the Magpies??? If you think he does then you are dilusional....the Magpies are expendable in this debate.

I would say deceive and bullsh*t the members - he knows as do the Board of the PAFC if they want AFL Reserves then the Magpies are dead! What is he and Kochie going to say or blame when it happens - that will be a tearful and deflecting members memo!

Macca19 wrote: Thats a pretty odd view of the situation. Surely having the opportunity to play Nathan Blee as a key defender, as the club wishes, and as the club drafted him for, and not as a bloody tall wingman will be beneficial to both player and club.

It is Healy who keeps going on about where Blee should play - no doubt Rhode, Richardson and Hinkley who are loading the gun though. None of them seen most of his 2012 season at North where he played as a key defender and was badly exposed. This season he has been playing a mix of up the ground on the wing and also off the half back flank and he has performed much better but clearly that has been missed at the PAFC?. I think Josh Francou has got it right!

If you and others at the PAFC think Blee is going to step up as a key defender in the AFL (I classify key defender as either FB or CHB) with his height and size then the Power are in real trouble but what would we know given you think D. Butcher is SANFL League standard!

That alone tells me all I need to know about your football knowledge!

Once again with the personal abuse.

How many Port games have you seen this year? 1?

Its not about what you think a player is worth. North dont pay for him. If we want to see how he goes as a key defender then that should be our right, considering we pay his salary, we pay for his development and we went to the trouble of drafting him. Not sure how this is so hard to grasp.

And we would be better off not hearing the same crap spewing from the PAFC - perhaps you will pass that onto KT?

Been thinking about this. People on here screaming "integrity" in every post and then they rejoice in the demise (or otherwise) of the Port Adelaide Magpies.
