My tips FWIW...
Blackwood in a tight one over Onkas...hey, gotta go out on a limb at some point!
Uri's to tear Hahndorf a new proverbial ie BIG flogging
Mt Barker to continue a march towards 5th spot and by about 7 goals over a slow Lobey.
Mt Lofty will destroy the Raiders, in what is hopefully a good clean game. I have heard that the oval was under water yesterday? Any BFC lads confirm?
And Ironbank V Roosters...jeez, BIG win coming up as no surprise there.
Hopefully it's not too wet tomorrow, but if it is, some of those results will be kept under 20 goals ie Devs, Ironbank and Uris.

I happened to drive past bridgy this morning and to my surprise it didn't look that bad!!! It will be very soft underfoot but not submerged

Interesting you rate Barker as a top 5 prospect. who do you reckon will succumb if this does occur?

Blackwood 5 goals
Uri's by 15 goals in the wet
Barker by 10 goals
Lofty 12 goals
Ironbank 14 goals

Good q.
Maybe Blackwood's lack of consistency against the top teams could be a factor. They would be the only chance, I think, to make way for MB.
Having said that, MB may finish in 6th, but it could end up being 4 or 5 wins behind 5th. Bit of a tighter race than last year.

ironbank win all grades this week including all primary grades as well (under 8,10 and 12) this speaks volumes for the clubs future.when u look at the senior sides at the moment there is not a weak link everyone wants to be a part of any success that is to be had by anyside this year . both a and b grade today birdwood played good hard contested footy they kept pace with us quite well and kicked very well 4 goal most of the behinds that birdwood got were from rushed points ! anyway good to win ugly sometimes :D :D

p.s i never thought i would say this but birdwood enjoyed playing on our oval more than us today we seemed to need more space to run today bring on the bigger ovals :D :D

Roger James may well have taken the HFL 'Mark of the Year'. With any luck, the 'Courier' photographer may have snaffled the gem of a hanger. If he's 'got' the photo, it will be Front page of the 'Courier' Sports section.

It will be Mark of the year and quite possibly make the front page of the paper.
He was good to watch Yesterday along with his two brothers. A much more disiplined outfit Kersbrook this year and it made for a good game of footy yesterday other than the result.

Mate Birdwood are useless! 5 more players will do nothing for that team, their skills are ordinary, their decision making is ordinary and as a unit they are far from a win! I also love all this talk about Ironbank's numerous recruits from tailem bend. there are three guys from tailem bend that are new this year Howes, Graetz and Muff, not exactly a majority of a 21 person side! TD you are a joke... All the guys from Happy Valley have played for Ironbank through juniors, are we all classified as recruits if we don't live in the suburb we play? Cos god knows all the lads from Happy Valley have their hands out for petrol money cos they can't afford the ten minute trip, better get on blackwood's back cos half the team lives in Eden Hills. You Idiot!
