This from the SANFL website

Seems he's gone back home (Wagga). Maybe Bassett would fit in well as a Collingwood coach ;)

Probably more with being told he would have to serve more time in the 2's and that he wouldnt be an automatic inclusion in the league side

I would be disappointed if my club isn't looking for his phone number right now.

I still have hopes of him returning.
Both him and Bass are headstrong, hopefully the club can sort it out.
Too good of a player to lose especially with our recruiting ban coming up

Would only be to scout his interest in playing for the Dogs in 2014...

Too late for this year...

It will be interesting to see his decision over the next few days...

Yeah Fantastic bloke and he had worked his arse off in his rehab to get back playing again! Agreed at full fitness he is one of the best in the SANFL.
Will be interesting to see what happens where he plays next!

Pain and injuries have probably left the poor bloke utterly frustrated at not getting back to the heights he is capable of.
My guess is that this has led to Bryce getting impatient to the point of not utterly bowing to his coach's directions.
As long as cool heads prevail, I hope Norwood fans can expect Bryce Campbell to hold aloft the 2013 Premiership Cup.

A bit ruthless if they told him after the 30th of June, so he couldn't get a transfer.

Makes you wonder why Bassett isn't at an AFL club... Punching on with other coaches and constant disagreements with everyone and everything! Not a good look if he wants to coach at the highest level!
