Campbell actually copped 2 high tackles and an possibly an in the back from 2 players!
Worse comes to worse if the umpire missed the first 3 infringements the ball got knocked out in the tackle which is play on.
You'd hope the umpire just had a crazy brain fade or went blind and guessed as noone that saw it could possibly be that incompetent and get a league game!

As I said before, normally the umpires never give North a holding the ball in front of goals or late in the last quarter. To do the opposite when clearly there was 2 high tackles and possibly an in the back and the ball gets knocked out in the tackle is a disgrace, the nearest umpires should never ever get a game again. In fact even the furthest away umpires shouldn't either, anyone at the ground should have overruled that disgraceful effort.

And anyone who disagrees is a troll or has absolutely no idea about the game.

Perhaps a Royal Commission is required? Clearly you have addressed all the issues without being overly dramatic.

No a royal commission isn't required but I thank you for agreeing with me.

Reckon most opposition fans feel like they get shafted at the Fortress

Is that an official SANFL stat or one taken down by the disgruntled fan with a beer who is convinced their side is robbed every week?

Am yet to hear any fan ever say that they are shocked at what a great run they get with the umps all the time.

Let's face it - we all see what we want to see and happy to turn a blind eye when things go our way.

No doubt the Eags got the rub of the green with that final decision yesterday. Totally understand North fans being pissed off with it.

But to suggest there is a grand conspiracy in favour of the Eags? Wishful thinking, people.

What if a poll was taken of supporters from every club asking which oppsition club they think gets the best ride from the umpires - that might be interesting...... ;)

BAAALLL! YESSSS! What was Campbell thinking? He would be advised to stay out of defensive 50 in future. Does he enjoy his matches against the Eagles?

I can't speak for the other fat North supporter, but this one will meet you at the Brooklyn Park Post Office at 6:00am Sunday morning, be on a mountain bike and we'll ride to Mt Lofty together, my heart will be fine, how will yours go?

We could run/hike it from Waterfall gully if you like , don't own a bike.

If that was you yesterday, then you should take some anger management classes.

I actually found the game quite entertaining to watch considering the conditions.
The umpiring on the day was woeful for both teams, but the last one was bordering on cheating.
I am still scratching my head wondering how that was not called head high or at worst play on as he handballed the ball when tackled.
I know in the NRL state of origin, if a Ref is found to be failing in his job of umpiring the game, he is replaced with another for the rest of the series.
Perhaps the SANFL should look at this when the Cows and Puffs enter the comp.
Well done Eagles anyhow

Having a look back at the vision, although hard to see exactly what happened because of the camera distance, I thought that perhaps Campbell's best option would have been to not try and break out of that pack, with his leg speed, rather just rush the ball through for a behind. He would have been considered to be under enough pressure to not be paid deliberately rushed and then would have given the Roosters posession back to be able to run the clock down, for the remaining seconds.
