It's the other games that they were in breach of, is what the comment was about.... vs Barmera and vs Renmark

They were cleared from penalties from those as they league admitted they were at fault also, correct?

Waikerie have tried getting zero points for Schrieber, saying that he hadn't played for a couple of years (knowing that he had played at Port Districts) They want Zero points for Nettlebeck on a local / professional move to Waikerie... but the deal was find me a job and I'll play for you... They were happy to have him as a three pointer last year and Schrieber..... I know vs Barmera the points players they put on the team sheet totalled 15 but forgot about Steele.... (3 points) which would have made them 18 points, they were happy with who they put on sheet at the time but since then (probably realising the mistake) they have been trying every avenue to get out of it..... eg Nettlebeck, Bratton from 2 to 1, Schreiber (saying he hadn't played because of a broken leg)...... etc etc..... There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they knew exactly what was going on, even if the league had given the wrong info... they are guilty and should be penalised according to the rules of the day....

You really have no idea. As you would be able to see on the team sheet Schrieber is 2 points and they have treated him that way all year. The league were the ones saying he was 0

Surely the league should set up a system that is transparent for all clubs involved.

My suggestions:
- Put a points number next to the peoples name in sporting pulse that it applies to.
- Scrap the -1 for U/18 (I don't see how rewarding kids because you have heavily recruited is a great way to go about things)
- All players that come from other teams/leagues that aren't a clear cut 3 points or it is a grey area, to go to some type of committee to apply for a reduction. All reductions are documented for all clubs to see, and put in some kind of appeal process if necessary.

End of the day if the system is broke, put something in place to fix it.

Heard that Cobby player/coach Robbie Vagg has a serious knee injury which looks like season ending?

Correct. Didn't look good.
Pretty certain he had a ligament tear.

There was two within minutes of each other.
Robbie went down, then Roy Grenfell for us went down, but the stretcher was still in rooms with Robbie.
Poor Roy had to hobble off.

You're probably right, I reckon he probably shouldn't have said anything. But, I'd be surprised if any players really used its motivation.
On the flip side, I thought Henry Crawford's initial comments were very naive, or naively worded, at the least.

It's a strange zone squad.
From a BL&G perspective, Heath Commance, Dean Cutting both attended training but weren't picked - quality, quality forwards.

With regards to Waikerie's penalty, how is it that Loxton weren't awarded the 2 points for a win? I would've thought the penalty would be akin to a forfeit. A game was programmed, one team didn't fulfil the expectations of the league, therefore the two points go to the team that was impacted. With this ruling, there are two points hanging in the ether as if they don't exist.
Is that the ruling across all leagues?

That is what happened when Kilburn went over the points. The rules state you lose the points and cop $1000. They don't say anything about the other team getting points or the match being forfeited.

Can someone tell me the correct info regarding the incident in the Under 18's at Berri on the weekend? I've heard about 10 different stories and not sure which one to believe.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.
