Wow, relegation now goes down to ML 6, Cent Unt 6, MP 6 and ande Unu 6. All teams are now 2 games out the 5. Gunna be a big last 6 games. Again the bye is going to be big.

Who still has the bye? Would think AU and MP most likely to avoid relegation?

Full steam ahead for MP. No byes to come, well Rossies next week. Hahaha. Watch out Horse, the Lions have a very, very good record at home. I'm hopeful, maybe we get some back from injury. Go you Lions.

Your right Yank man, MP's record at home is impressive, probably why they are 4% from Divvy 7.. I think MP have more to worry about when Horse and his cavalry arrive in town come next Saturday..

I'm presuming there'll only be one relegated with 2 to come up. Answered my own question I think. An extra saturday or two off isn't bad though especially for the weary.

If I am not mistaken, the last time rosies played at MP was the first round in 2003. very strange game. Rosies were 8-9 goals down at quarter time, but ended up winning by 20 goals. No breeze to speak of
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Mate and i stopped by and watched 1/2 of the game yesturday MP wasn't even in the contest.Watched the 2nd and 3rd quarter and having there best player #8 sitting at full forward in the 2nd quarter when the ball wasn't even going down there was strange. What a waste of talent when there getting smashed they leave him there.Would be lucky to avoid relegation if they keep dishing up that.

The memory on this one! I played that game, it was very odd.

I remember we started to go downhill after Matt Emmerson - clear BOG at that stage, did his shoulder/neck.

MP broke even in the 2nd half but BOS controlled the game from the outset. Had 1 left on the bench from about 10 minutes into the second quarter and then that spare was gone half way through the last quarter. MP played very differently from the encounter earlier in the season. Very impressed by our lads maintaining their focus and composure in a physical game on and off the ball that threatened to boil over on a number of occasions.

The yellow card in the 1st quarter was very, very fortunate not to be red in my view. You just cant run at a bloke from 10 meters away and jump into him with an arm up in some sort of disguised spoiling attempt as he is taking a mark and your back is to the ball. It's just plain dangerous and should not be tolerated.

Yeah it was a hard hit but red card?? Don't exaggerate it pal, clearly a free and 25m penalty but that's it. And for having his arm up, such crap!!!! If his arm was up he would've been the RAH getting facial surgery done. Heavy bump with elbow clearly tucked in. And to his credit the BOS player got right up. So arm up?? To get on here and mistruths buddy!

And yes BOS dominated all day I'm my opinion. Regardless of the second half scores BOS still clearly spread better all over the ground. Their half back flankers were allowed to run riot up and down the wings all day. A harsh lesson in accountability for MP.

Well bloods4life it appears we don't share the same opinion on the 'bump'. I was doing the scoreboard and it happened 15ish meters from me, it was quite obvious what was going to happen, so my explanation stands. At the point of contact it appeared that the arm was used in a way to demonstrate an attempt to spoil. Quite simply, he charged a player who had no way of defending himself than to pull out of the marking contest which Curto was never going to do.

Charging /shirt fronting with a 'tucked in elbow' is ok then? If it went the other way I'm confident there would have been players coming from everywhere. Laws of the game say you can't do it, it's reportable and therefore in the SAAFL it is a red card. There wasn't even a 25 given ....

bad luck for the lad if true..will make things difficult for the parks who have to play MLFC CUFC and AUFC at their grounds..5 wins and 45%+ should keep a team out of relegation this year..the game against AUFC Rd 18 might see the loser relegated..

I hear that Daniel Reardon played a blinder of a game Saturday, I hope it impressed the ladies on ladies day.

I believe Blackfriars are missing the Demasi & Dellamalva brothers for the remainder of the minor round due to an overseas trip, will this hurt them?
