Could his SANFL coaching career end at the same venue as his playing career?
Would think a heavy loss Friday night would make the situation very uncomfartable

Unless he can pull off a miracle at the Parade, his future may be decided by a different game— South vs Sturt. Glenelg will be last if South win. Reaching the bottom of the ladder can have an emotional impact on some people.

It certainly had an emotional impact at the Parade in 2004 (when it was roughly at this stage of the year that Macca tendered his resignation, but magnanimously agreed to coach the year out).

Maybe the Bays can "do a South" and cause a big boilover on Friday night?

Not suggesting it will happen again, but when was the 'one goal game' and what where the final scores that night?

Imagine we'd kicked those scores in the same game - Would have been like a Norwood v West match

I would guess 2007 when the Bays kept us to 1 goal, and 2004 when we kept them to the 1.

Yeah, sorry mate, I was actually more thinking about when Glenelg only had one goal in mind at the start of that particular night and, I guess, they kind of achieved that in the end, if you know what I mean !!!

Although the South over West result yesterday suggests otherwise, it's more likely to be a repeat of the Bays being kept to a low score, as opposed to the other way around, this coming Friday night...

Looking forward to getting back to The Parade for Friday Night Football, this week...
