I remember the scoreboard being wrong in a 2s match about 10 years ago at unley, reckon it had bays up by a point and amended to a draw after final siren? Something similar anyways.

That little scoreboard by the bowling club was out all through the last quarter, when you could read it. The peanut driving the thing couldn't get the score right, and then stood in front of the scoreboard so you couldn't read it anyway

A bit of artistic license on Roochy's part there? The speech Jumbo made on the ground emphatically referred to the dogs pissing on him...

:Hangman:

As I said on a previous post. Kris Massie has been quoted as saying he has the playing group he wants ( now that the club have jettisoned players like Kirk, Snook, Kane(s), Panozzo etc ) and that we are in a better position than last year. Currently 8th, and looking at an angry West Adelaide this week. I can't see us winning a bye this year let alone another game.

And so the train wreck continues. In my 40 years as a die hard Glenelg Football Club fan, I have never seen it in such disarray. An amateur social footy club at best. Sure we have lights at The Bay Oval, and profits are up. Big deal.....I WANT PREMIERSHIPS !

I'm sure I am not alone, but most supporters appear to accept it as a part of being a Bay supporter. Chiggy and Co better stop the laughing and social carry on, get their heads out of their collective arses and make some intelligent decisions both off and on the field.

Well said Baysman, I have been a supporter since the late 60's and I can say that the club is well and truly going backwards, I only get to see them these days on ABC SA once and awhile, the games against the Maggies and Eagles was a joke, a lot of the players are not up to SANFL level, especially when compared to years gone by.

Our game this week against Westies is going to be a hard slog for us, a definitely percentage booster for Westies.

The sad thing is that the GFC cronies will blanket everything, promote that we are in a development stage ( heard that for the past 15 years or so ) and spin doctor it all into a foul stench whirlwind of football methane !

OWN UP GLENELG FOOTBALL CLUB !

I'd like to see if Glenelg supporters have changed their views on Panozzo, Hinge, Duldig and to a lesser extent Ben Kane since leaving the Bay. I remember many calling some of them hacks and mere reserve players especially Panozzo.
Would be interested in your views on this Bayman and decisions in hindsight.

Haven't changed my mind on any of the four players. Still think highly of Duldig, still think it's a shame that Panozzo and Kane left. Still think Hinge is a snivelling little turncoat.

I understand that not all Blues fans have always thought highly of certain of these four players. Wonder if there are any Blues fans willing to criticise any of them today?

Sometimes it just comes down to what a particular coach thinks of a certain player, not much a supporter can do about that, except in some cases wish it was the coach who went. ;)

Personally think it all starts at the top, and think the board at Glenelg should be having a go hard look at itself after many very bad decisions over the last few years

Many sturt supporters think that Hinge needs to throw himself into contests harder. I always thought Panozzo was a good honest player and Duldig always tore us up.
