Looks like I'll be 3-2 after this round:

TEAM_FISH: 352 + Dangerfield + Whitfield
Jims TigerRoos: Jacobs + Byrnes + Viney

Jim is a good scalp to get. Normally a very consistent high scoring player in the Hogg.
I am up against Toolman and it's going to be a close finish.

Moneybrawl; Evans, Harbrow, Zac Smith, Jack Steven & Roberton
Toolman; 217, Viney & Walker
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Yep. You've got me easy fish. Well done. Going to the trade table this week to start the upgrades.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

18 Pidgeridoo 0 6 10133 13154 77.03 0

The SCLSU Mud Dogs won the big match in Division II last weekend after they disposed of Destiny's Uncles but the big winner was Moneybrawl who went top of the ladder as they dispatched the Doob in a percentage booster. Jims TigerRoos got back on the winning list after a mini slump and moved back into the eight just ahead of a fortunate Ecky's Fevolas who snuck past a struggling FOOTYLEDGENS by a mere four points.

TEAM_FISH's climb up the ladder hit a snag when they went down to the Brown Boys and my flag tip Toolman returned to top form with an impressive 2348 to smash the Professor who is now in the relegation zone. Pidgeridoo scored a few more points this week but not enough to open his account and they remain stone motherless last and looking good for Division III next season. Crabby hasn't cut the mustard so far this year and they were given the Hippy Hippy shake as the Hips went to 4-2 and are looking good. Delicous finally got off their arse and won a game which isn't good news for pels' backyarders who couldn't find their way to the front gate last week.

It's a pretty even comp this one but the bottom four are starting to look very comfortable down there but tipping who might be promoted to Division I is much tougher lads as remember only two go up.

The best match of this round was the thrilling 3 point victory by BABB over destiny's uncles. In such a tough league where four go down and only two go up, such results turn seasons. Big Al has been hanging around the place but this win over one of the early season pacesetters has put them in the frame for higher honours later on during the season, even if they currently reside just outside the top eight.

Jims TigerRoos have emerged from a mini slump to defeat the highly rated SCLSU Mud Dogs after the TigerRoos racked up an impressive 2347 that would have beaten any side in the division this round. Toolman was another top eight side to have a win over a team placed more highly on the ladder when they fixed up the Hippys who were shaken off by 58 points.

The Professor is Crowing again after escaping from the relegation zone as he smoked the Doob who put in the worst score of the week. Moneybrawl made sure that Cubby's FOOTYLEDGENS remain in the relegation zone with a pretty lucky win in the end as Birchall's late out and Radar's refusal to score points turned a tricky encounter into a comfortable win for the league leaders. The FISH are back in the top eight even though Pidgeridoos put in their best effort of the season and Browns Boys are looking pretty good sitting in the top four after another solid performance defeating a wobbly Fevolas outfit.

Valleys' Delicous had a sweet win after Crabby couldn't cut the mustard and the Backyarders made sure there was plenty of Bloods spilt.

That is the benefit of having emergencies.
Expect the unexpected in this game.
The ladder is a bit distorted at the moment.
If you go by points for the season I am sitting ninth.
It's a pity that Pidge & Falrak have taken no interest in this season and are dragging the league down.
At least when Melbourne tanked they picked a full team.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Lost Round 9 to BABB by 3 points :( devastated.

I blame Sam Jacobs only scoring 30-odd before gettings subbed off. Would have traded him out this week if Leuenberger hadn't gone down

Just scraped in with a 38 point win against Ecky's Fevolas :D

Thankfully Ecky's Cotchin spudded up to match my Martin spudding up.

Most of my midfield spudded up this week. Selwood, Murphy, Cotchin, Boak, O'Meara (will cop that from O'Meara)

After nine matches in Hogg Division II this season it appears we have 16 pretty competitive sides and a couple of relegation bound passengers. Toolman is the new ladder leader after posting a handy 1977 to defeat the struggling Bloods. Tooly took advantage of Moneybrawl's loss to Eckys Fevolas who wound back the clock to last season to record an important victory. Jims Tigerroos drew level with the leading pack as they cleaned up the backyard but the most impressive score of the week went to Crab Mustard FC who scored 2048 to move to 12th and out of the relegation zone.

Quite a few other lower ranked sides recorded wins this week but none was as sorely needed as FOOTYLEDGENS long awaited second win at the expense of Hips Don't Lie. Delicious also had an important win as the lower ranked sides are fighting to avoid being one of the two other sides who will go down with Pidgeridoos and Falrak.

TEAM_FISH has announced themselves as a title contender as they racked up another good score and another good win in Round 10. FISH cleaned up Moneybrawl who are not enjoying the bye period as they have now lost their last two matches. Perhaps the brawlers will rack up a win in their third bye week attempt. Relegation threatened Crab Mustard were dead stiff to lose after posting 2065 but it's hard to begrudge Jims TigerRoos a win such as this as they have been losing matches with high scores for almost their entire Hogg career. Jims were due a change of luck and they are looking good things for promotion to Division I.

There was a similar tale of woe for Ecky's Fevolas who were also beaten despite posting a score of over 2000 during a bye week. Ecky hasn't had the same level of consistency in Division II after being a dominant player in Division IV last year. It was a double blow for Crab Mustard as Professor Crow's big win has put them right back in the relegation picture along with The Bloods win over a poor Falrak.

The bottom three are in all sorts of bother and despite thier win this week I think Bloods might also be in the gun. A lot of the relegation zone teams will be hoping Backyarders start losing with their poor percentage.
