I'm looking forward to a lot of years of watching this Son (and Nephew) of a gun play for the Bombers

He might be playing at the Swans.

He aint going nowhere, we will sign him long term

No TDK, I feel good about Hodge being run down and not disposing of it correctly and the team then moving the ball down the field and kicking a goal. I feel good about Sewell dropping the ball after ample opportunity and the Hawks kicking a goal. I feel good about Sam Mitchell spiking a ball (which would've been penalised in a Volleyball thirds match at MARS stadium) and getting away with it.

And that's just three I can recall off the top of my head. Then there were 23 frees in their favour and only about 15 in ours. It was moreso the ones not paid (as mentioned in this paragraph) that hurt us.

But overall, I feel good.

The third one you mention was a push in the back to lake just before the Mitchell throw, can't pay a disposal free if the ball is dead
I thought Carlton had a good trot with the umps in the first half, not so in the 2nd.

Port win by 75, very ordinary last quarter, but at least an improved performance overall after previous 5 games.

Pathetic last quarter especially after how they've made a big point about their superior fitness and ability to run out games better than their opposition and the fact that they allowed GWS to win their 1st last quarter for the year.

yeh but we still won by 12 goals and have probably the toughest 4 weeks of football coming up. I'm happy the boys put in the effort to get into a position to do that.

 After 5 losses in a row, I would've taken a 1 point victory today. To win by 75 points was better than most would've expected before that match. It's the AFL after-all, not Sunday amateur league.

MRP Report:

One charge laid.

Hawthorn's Luke Hodge can accept a reprimand for rough conduct on Carlton's Lachie Henderson.

All other incidents cleared.

Looks like the MRP has applied the 'superstar' clause to their assessment of that incident.
