Are they playing any games there at all in the second half of the season?

Matt Francis from Mitchell Park cleared to Flinders Uni. Nice initiation for him at Smithfield.

Yeah and got welcomed with a 112 thumping!!! Mitchell park in the other hand had a nice win. Funny that........

Or maybe all credit should go to Flinders Park who from all reports were more committed and harding working for 4 whole quarters. Obviously really got themselves up ready for the day while Ingle Farm perhaps little sluggish after week off.

All though A grade were missing half dozen, its no excuse given the way the B grade have been travelling the depth is available to replace them.

They're a good side. I had to watch from the sidelines when we played them, but they looked like a strong team, big bodies complimented by skilful runners. They might be able to sneak fourth spot come the end of the minor round.

when we played them apparently they had scored a heap of talent from up north (country) who were all down in the city for work

but to beat an agrade side ya have to train like an agrade side, so full credit to what ever extra they did over the break... probably nothing

With Ingle Farm losing yesterday, proving that there not the side that everyone thought they were, certainly makes Houghton red hot favorites to win the flag don't you think?

Got some tough away games to come - Flinders Park, Ingle Farm, Angle Vale - they will be our biggest tests for the minor rounds.

You're very astute Q. Farmers are still the team to beat and you know it. It is so so so hard to stay up at this level when you are constantly winning cos guys get ahead of themselves. Angle Vale would worry me because I just reckon they are better now than the last couple of years. Outside the top 3 it would stagger me if anyone made the big one. :)
