Don't think you can read too much into performances against Scotland :)
They wouldn't be much better than a good club side.

our current crop of batsmen are surely the worst in history, our bowlers may keep us in a few tests but i reckon our chances are none and buckleys over both series, good to see that big deal probe into all things cricket after the 2010/11 debacle has had the desired effect.........................NOT

Is klinger still making runs at his county side? Has a decent record on English decks I'm led to believe. And with warner leaving his brain in nsw, maxy might be considered...

Rogers almost a certain starter in the first test now. From the squad they have named our top 6 could look like this.

Bailey in form could slot in at number 6 if Watson plays as the all rounder.

Ed Cowan
Chris Rogers
Phil Hughes
Michael Clarke
Shane Watson
Brad Haddin

with Warner playing no cricket until to 1st test, Id say Rogers has to play.....good county form and top 3 run scorer in SS cricket last year.

Klinger not far off, injury to Hughes or Cowan and he's in i'd say......

At this stage first XI for 1st test

Cowan
Rogers
Hughes
Clarke
Watson
Khawaja
Haddin
Siddle
Pattison
Starc
Lyon

12th - Bird
Keyser Soze
Rookie

I know it's probably been spoken about but I'm baffled how Watson got sent home/suspended on for not doing homework, but that goose warner punches a bloke in the chops and gets buggar all... Sack the coach, bring in Waugh or Lehman, sack the selection panel... Bunch of soft c#cks the lot of them... England will smash them...

ps
especially drop Hughes...
