The other 8 remaining stand alone clubs are already fighting over who gets the Port Adelaide Magpies zones.

Don't think Andy D and his cronies would be overly impressed with PAFC keeping recruiting zones and underage sides. Open to draft tampering and we know what happened to the other club on West Lakes Boulevard....

This is where you and others are completely misreading the situation. It's not an AFL issue. They've already approved the Port Adelaide structure under the One Club merger. The stronger Port Adelaide get on their own, the less $$ the AFL has to pump in.

Scream injustice all you want. The PAFC will get its way because the SANFL needs the $$$

Couldn't imagine you were too concerned about the demise of Woodvile and West Torren which was only saved by a merger nor the financial issues that most of the SANFL clubs have faced in the past and some continue to face in the present?

If Port & Crows were to play in the reserves comp i would like to see some of the money they pay us be used to up reserve player payments.

Hopefully if we could bridge the gap slightly less players will leave to play country and ammos.
