Rnd 11: Port Magpies v Norwood @ Alberton Oval (Sat 15/6)

Postby Big Phil » Wed Jun 12, 2013 8:03 am

The Magpies are coming off a fantastic win over the Panthers, while the Redlegs had a great opening term against the Bloods, setting up their 5 goal win.

This could be the last time these 2 traditional rivals play against each other at Alberton?

Can we leave this type of talk to the threads dedicated to it? We all know nothing has been tabled, discussed or voted on. Might be "the last" of something every week this year, might not be.

Anyway, spewing Im going to miss this one as I give Port a real chance here. I'm not that confident to say that we will win, but I am confident of pushing the 'Legs for four quarters, IF we bring the game we brought against North and South.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Booney does raise a valid point though, there are enough of those type of threads on here currently and do not need the weekly match thread clogged up with similar crap....

Should be a big crowd there Sunday since the Magpies are up and about at the moment, and the Power and Crows both play away this weekend.

Fair enough, Booney, appreciate what you are saying there...

One last thing from me on it - Nathan Bassett is thinking the same thing, reading his blog on the NFC website...

It would be great to see a large contingent of Norwood supporters there so hopefully you can make the drive down Port Road for what could be an historic occasion.
