and the Eagles, Port, West, South, Norwood, North, Glenelg & Central. In fact, a much better situation!

Maybe we should be allowed a special clause for 'born and bred' local players who find themselves on an AFL list. Tambling, Reilly, Kerridge, Graham sure...but I reckon some folk need to be reminded that players like Jaenschy, McIntyre, Martin & Hombsch aren't exactly ring-ins. Just saying.

In Tim's case he probably wouldn't have even got the chance if he didn't come to SA first.

Sturt will still have afl players next year. Year is nearly half over, and there hasn't even been a plan for the clubs to discuss.

Sturt without having AFL players kicking goals against them this year would be interesting. Have copped several individual bags from listed players I reckon. Stats anyone?

Off the top of my scone;

Johncock (PAFC) - 7 goals - won by 6 points
Johnston (NAFC) - 7 goals - lost by 27 points
McKernan (GFC) - 5 goals - lost by 28 points
Callinan (CDFC) - 5 goals - lost by 27 points

Very interesting point you raise, SANFLnut........

Johnston got 4 "gimme" me goals in our win over Sturt. By that I mean handballs or chip kicks with him standing in the square where other players could have scored rather than his brilliance or dominance. So IMHO his 7 goals were exaggerated to a large degree that day.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

So we're Callinan's...
