Personally, I hate anything where the image portrayed by the band doesn't match the music, and in Nicklebacks case they are marketed as being this big rock band, where in fact they are just corporate cock-pop. Sadly for Nickleback, a distortion pedal doesn't hide lack of skillful musicianship or creativity in song writing.

I have never heard Nickleback, they haven't made it to Japan. But I am enjoying this thread a lot. Funny stuff.
