Suck it up you whingers, other clubs have been reamed so often by your mates in white over the years, now its your turn.

Agreed. That was a quality post!

As I mentioned, the overwhelming evidence tabled to demonstrate the systematic and unbridled manipulation of umpiring decisions in order to facilitate and enable the success of the Port Adelaide Football Club since "the 70's" is in its most simple form irresistable.

It is without a shadow of doubt that such evidence could only be tabled by a man gifted with two dicks, as simply playing with one would not enable any individual to become that stupid.

Q: Does an exciting last quarter of a GF make the whole game, a great game?
EG: 1978, 1980, 1994 were not, IMO, great games overall, but made that
way due to extraordinay finishes.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Yes, but this thread isn't about GREAT grand finals - it's about memorable ones...

eg: the 1989 GF certainly wasn't great (ok, well it was for us Port supporters  ) but it certainly will go down as one of the most memorable ;)
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

1905 was more memorable than 89. We kept Port to 1.6 in the 05 GF, 2 points worse than North in 89. ;)

Have we had a streaker at a Granny yet?

That would make it memorable, no matter how mediocre the game...

Only my opinion but the 1984 GF beween Norwood and Port was the best game of football I have ever seen at ANY level.
How exciting was 1978 too ???
Yes I am biased.

Didn't see any of these live, SDK, but the 89 VFL is the best, with this one next in line.
The 99 Nwd v Port is the best in the post-AFL era IMO.

Just watching highlights of the 73 GF at the reunion dinner tonight at the club. Gee was Barrie Robran super. His play to get the ball down to full forward for Notths Last goal was so smooth. Play seemed to stop as he got the ball and moved past players.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Max Hall has just called it, 73 best Grand Final he's seen in over 60 years of umpiring, commentating and watching footy, next best 1953 Port v Torrens.

I would of thought the 1994 Grand Final was one of the most exciting finishes!!

Can't top 2011 Grand Final as anyone who was there will confirm, the last five minutes were unreal for tension :)

2010 was better.
