No doubt the meeja will bang on about the Cows influence - fair enough because Tambling, Reilly and Martin were superb today - but some of our young guns like Harms, Stephens, Page, Crocker stepp
ed it up a notch. And the roving work of the big Dugong was worth the price of admission alone! Chuffed

I wasn't at the game but it sounds like a 4 quarter effort. Sounds like some injuries could hamper us next week but very very happy to have the win. Reward for effort.

Wow a week is a long time. I didn't think Sturt could turn around that insipid pathetic effort from last week.
On last weeks display I struggled to see them winning many more for the year. Full credit to the players and coaching staff

Don't agree, as posted last week I thought Sturt showed a bit against Norwood but the Redlegs did play very well.
Surprised Sturt won this one but certainly not shocked by the win.
How can you draw a line through the Eagles ? As a Norwood supporter they are the main team that worries me.

They're capable of beating anyone and they're capable of playing worse than you can imagine. Most inconsistent team I've known.

Great 4 quarter effort. Hard attack on the ball, stuck tackles and pressured WWT into trouble. Coax benched after 1/4 time, Graham off for most of the last. ******* fantastic Sturt.

Gives an excuse for the supporters to sing it loud and proud.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Reckon the crowd would've been 3000-3500.

No big comeback after half time this time. Lack of pace finds out the Eagles yet again. Will be lucky to make finals on that perfomance

Awesome four qtr effort. Yes, Tambling, Riley and "Sturt Crows" Martin and Jaensch were good but so too were young guns Crocker, Stevens, Greenslade and Harms.

Great work by Kurtze and particularly Duldig. People knock the big fella, but he is just so clever and gives 110% every time he takes the field.

And have to make note of the courageous effort by Jack Stephens running back into a contest at the end of the second qtr - inspiring stuff.
