Really - Based on what? He has played 2 games in the past 2 years for us - 3 if you include tomorrow's game and on the Crows performance last night he should be "a monty" to go back next time out for them so he may squeeze in a 3rd game for us this season however I don't think he is our best player. He was good last week but not the difference. Great player no doubt and handy to have back but our best not sure as the likes of Gordon and Miles are far more improtant and will have a greater effect if they miss than Wright.

And the bosses at the SANFL doesn't want the comp to start losing media coverage and lose all AFL players and it will happen. Imagine next year tex walker comes back next year through the reserves, the media would all over that game, and if its in the SAAFL there would be a bigger crowd than SANFL.
I'll let the club know to order an extra pallet of beer, given Jarryd Lyons could be playing tomorrow and Matty Wright is.
I mean they going to bring at least an extra 1000 each through the gate....

Instead the SANFL are being held at a knifes edge and being forced to change or die
The salary of these reserve players are being funded by the crowds that attend "AFL" games, the SANFL should not be held responsible to facilitate the development of the reserve players. Its just not their problem
Sanderson couldnt careless about SANFL & why should he

Ideally that would be the best case then the reserves comp can play before the afl games. But this will still effect the SANFL with top up players.
The other point which we all don't know about is the finical situation of each club. While the SANFL have assets to be sold (football Park and AFL license) these should not be used to bank roll the SANFL. If it is used to bank roll the SANFL how long will it last, the money will soon run out and the SANFL will be in major trouble. With the AFL moving to AO that means less income for the SANFL, the clubs now have to work out how they are and also take in what if crowd numbers drop off. No point keeping the "integrity" of the game if it can't be sustained.

Apparently, we should allow the crows to enter a reserves side in the sanfl because Walker may play 2-3 sanfl games, and it may result in 500 more people going. Wafw.

I think you could, how many North games have you been to this year joker, there are a number of players currently at North I would rate above Wright (who is a very good player), just because they are not on a AFL list doesn't mean they are not a very good playerthe joker wrote:you cannot say that Wright playing at North wouldn't be their best player.

Good on you TSG, you cannot say that Wright playing at North wouldn't be their best player. And it if the crows reserves play amateur you won't have to worry about watching them, because broadview will be in div 2

I have been to 5, I am not saying that other players aren't close to him. But remember what he was like 2 years ago when he played every week their. And he is a far better player now than then

Was he better than Allan then if you go back 2 years or for that matter Bennett?
