In my opinion, Boston have some good young players but I cant see them backing up after playing Souths last week.
I still reckon they will at least kick one maybe 2 goals for the game.

How will Marble Range bounce back against Waybacks this week. No point having Luke Harder if you cant kick goals.

No point having anybody if ya can't kick goals

22.16 to 4.1 not a great score line for the Tigers but they were more than competitive
in patches certainly in the 1st half.
they now have a facility which they can be truly proud of, fantastic views and well designed.
A great fundraiser for Robyn Bryant , MJ and the kids.Hopefully the club can keep these kids
together and form a strong nucleus in the next couple of years

we think we got problems with biters and kickers!!
Nihill Coach outed until 2021 and Stawell Goal umpire out until 2015
for half time scrap which resulted in an all in melee

From all reports districts will be a VERY young team and I can imagine there were quite a few headaches at the City selection table last night

Outsdtanding display of team football by Lincoln City and they will go into the main game on Monday as warm favourites. Francis was outstanding and should win the Bampton on what I saw today.
The facilities have improved at the ground and I was impressed.
Districts again will win the Hangover Cup on Monday morning (5th v 6th v 7th). What is the opinion on this farce being intitled a Cup?

Ladder after day 1.

1 Lincoln City 2 2 0 132 27 4 488.89
2 Great Flinders 2 2 0 122 45 4 271.11
3 Eastern Eyre 2 1 1 84 62 2 135.48
4 Mid West 2 1 1 84 101 2 83.17
5 Lincoln Districts 2 1 1 75 91 2 82.42
6 Far West 2 0 2 82 142 0 57.75
7 Kangaroo Island 2 0 2 21 132 0 15.91

What improvements can be made to improve the weekend?

I don't think there is much point in KI coming over if they are going to be that uncompetative

Far West won both games, while Districts and KI could only manage a draw.
Eastern Eyre beat Mid West 8.16 to 8.8
Great Flinders beat City by about 13 goal in the end.
Nigel James(GF) Bampton medal
Reece Francis(City) R/Up
Best U/21 was a lad from KI, but I couldn't hear over the loudspeaker very well so not 100% sure who.
Malcolm Miller(GF) Leading Goal scorer with 11.

City were ordinary and outcoached.
One team came to play hard finals football and one team got well ahead of themselves.
I can't agree with beebs comment on radio that Francis was "Falconio"

Am not sure the team got ahead of themselves, speaking to a few of the boys they were confident but knew it was going to be a tough game, a lot of the talk going around jo public was that they were the best team. Great Flinders were simply awesome yesterday, they could not do a thing wrong and backed up their performance from a few weeks earlier at Ravendale.
