Well you go with what works for you! ;)

Given how North went against Port and if they go in with the same mindset and the subsequent display of poor skills they showed that day then Glenelg could easily win!

Bays by 7 pts, with a goal kicked after siren by Roars from the goal-square ;)

*sigh* one can but dream....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Even better, we a couple points up, north kick it forward, siren goes and they take a mark 25m out...uh oh!
Seriously though, we in strife this week, I got the candy stripes as flag favourites this year. We're way off them I think.

Changes for North - Wright has been made "unavailable" by the Crows (as has Lyons for Glenelg) so Dale Armstrong will be in the 21 along with Ryswyk back for Ivens.

I mean no disrespect with this question but why do these teams play for the John Sandland Cup? I don't know much about him.

John Sandland actually. He kicked the last goal for Glenelg in the 73 GF that gave them the final 7 point margin. He later transferred and played for North - sadly after knee problems and he was never the same at Prospect as he was at the Bay.

Cheers for that. If he did pass away last year, guess that's why this is the first year.

Little too young to remember him

Was swapped for Adrian Rebbeck in 1975.

Believe John was quite ill for a while. Played about 80 - 100 games for the tigers from 1970 - 74 played in the 1970 , 73 GF's not sure about 74.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
