In saying that, he'll probably kill it now lol.

Anyway, great to see Luke Reynolds and Jonathon Ross in there, hope they go well.

Id rather he wasnt in the squad so he could be playing for Norwood. Likewise Dumont. Personally club comes way before state duties

Errgh? :?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Must be the first player selected to play state football without having played a game all year.
As previously stated here he will probably burn but it is more the principle he should had at least one game for his club.
Not a big fan of Phillips as coach.
Hope the kids do well, about time we won this comp.

Aish has to play for SA...no brainer. Great opportunity to run into some form against the tier 2 states before launching an assault on the championships. SA's best chance of winning the U18 champs is to have Aish playing against the big boys, so it makes absolute sense to give him a run. There is only one principle in play here and that is to pick your best available side and Aish is in SA's best U18 side.

I said the same when the state squad was picked, couldnt care if no Norwood players were in it

Reading the above - agree Phillips isn't a coaches a...h... and that is why SA won't win even though they should. Time for a new coach. Would have won 2 of the previous 4 championships if there was a decent coach in place. eastern seaboard laugh at the turkey :D :D :D

I think at U18 level it is an honour and a great experience to play at State level. Most of these kids would have aspirations to play AFL and it is a great platform to strut their stuff.
Senor Moto Gadili you make a good point about Aish.

LOL at you not thinking Aish shouldn't be in the side. Best junior our state has had. Coming back from injury so be it. Its like saying, Gary Ablett coming back from injury would come through the Gold Coast reserves.

Without knowing, I'm guessing your brother didn't get picked in the side and you felt he should at Aish's expense?
