Wasn't using it as an excuse just asking what Sprint thought off the umpiring, your thoughts Hound?

Anyhow we lost you won good luck for next week!

No longer a Hound so I wouldn't really know what the umpiring was like. Good to see the Hounds get a win.

indeed that is true, shouldn't your alias be mighty rooster or something like that :)

Thought about it! But mighty hounds has been with me for 6 years, couldn't change it now :D

I might make a formal request through the moderators as you are bringing the hounds brand into disrepute ...

Does anyone have any idea if Uni's played a stronger team then usual on the weekend or did Lockleys just have an off day?? Seems a strange scoreline considering the results so far..

Lockleys were missing quite a few including Georgiou & Flanigan but still the result is a huge shock I agree
Smelt kicked 11 for Uni he's a very handy Forward, big agile unit

uni kicked 5.0 to 0.5 first quarter..suddenly they have a sniff and everybody gets up and running..lockleys let the genie out of the bottle..had a huge target up forward who kicks 11 for the day and has 25 goals in 4 games..they have been very competitive in most games besides playing rosewater and CLG but even in our game they worked really hard in the second and third quarter..they have some good players and will take more scalps before the year is out i reckon..

rd 1 lost by 1 goal to WOSFC
rd 2 lost by 13 points to BOSFC
rd 4 lost by 22 points to MLFC
rd 6 lost by 27 points to CUFC

I haven't seen a lot of Div 6 footy in the last few years but if he is kicking 11 the standard must be terrible. Agile ? You are kidding me aren't you ! Who stood him a resting midfielder

Ive watched a fair bit of Div 6 footy over the past 15 months and I am actually suprised how good the standard is, much better than I expected.

Just quietly I reckon Freo would have a pretty good idea about Div 6 and the quality or lack thereof in the forward lines ;)

Having said that...

This is the best standard of Division 6 I have seen.

Stood a fair player in the Full Back of the Year last year in Dan Voyzey judging by Zedmans pics

Looks like Dan Voyzey picked him up, Zed. As you know week in week out Voyzey is a good defender, reads the ball well and runs off his opponent. Consistent TOTY contender for the past 3 years and always polls well in the Medal etc....Clearly gave away a few centimetres and kilos to that Uni Forward. But, if the delivery into "The Blacks" forward line was quality, and without Harry and Flanigan applying pressure up the ground, then there may not have been much Dan V could do about it. Everyone has their day it clearly belonged to "The Blacks"
