I will be hoping North Adelaide win it !

Would help if we were in it.

Have to ask: Why have they got it at Footy Park????
It's Norwood playing FFS - have it at The Parade and we might turn up

Because it is made for Foxtel and Coopers Stadium doesn't have the right infrastructure for an ABC domestic broadcast, let alone a national set up, with Foxtel.

It's their competition, Fox pays for it, so they have the say in where and when it is played.

The only possible way I see this concept actually doing what it should is if you have the Foxtel cup fixtures replace SANFL fixtures for clubs and have those matches results actually count. The games have to be played on a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. It'll be tricky, perhaps to the point of being messy, but it could work. But no other scenario (IMHO) would have the clubs happy to join in AND competing 100%.

Presumably it's supposed to allow a team to lay claim to being the best team outside the AFL. Hard to make that claim as soon as any side doesn't go all out to win.

You don't think Fox would rather a red hot contest as opposed to the under 21 training drills some of these games end up being?

I guess that's what the $100,000 prize money is for.

Well it's gone from 3 teams from SA wanting to compete, to 8 out of nine. Norwood are resting a few I see, and can't blame them, but it's still a decent side.

Fair enough
Wear your thermals Big Phella, because there wont be anyone to borrow a scarf off
I barrack for both clubs so would have gone to The Parade (brings back memories of the Escort Cup), but I'm not going down there to freeze my ass off
