Audio-technica ATH-ANC23 active noise-cancelling earbuds.
Arrived chez Pseudo this morning less than 36 hours after being ordered online.
Been walking everywhere with them, flicking the noise cancellation on and off, marvelling at the difference in sound.
My inner nerd has been mentally analysing how they work... a simple analogue phase-inverter circuit would do the trick nicely especially at low frequencies. A small linear forward prediction filter would extend the frequency range and sharpen up the quality. If you had the luxury of digital circuitry, however...

Have some Bose noise cancelling headset for when I fly, or listen to music.

Got some akg 702. No good for noise cancelling though. Will ear buds work on an aeroplane? Prefer over the ear cans.
