We're nearly a third of the way through the season now. What have we learned? Any surprises/disappointments etc?

1.learnt buying in the off season has paid of for salisbury north (salary 110k) that should buy a flag
2.gaza and its current coach is not room for both of them and you will find once current coach has left players will return
3.Goodwood Saints still going strong

other then that it all seems to be going around what people predicted

i can not prove the salary that salisbury north is forking out but when ya president football director or what ever they call him tells a shit load of people during the year how is it shit stirring

and the gaza drama if any of them players who went back country or to walkies wanna say the truth then they can step up

True, but at least he's on the mark with his 3rd point. 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

If you are talking about Carpo. I highly, highly doubt he would be telling a "shit load" of people. Also has he told you personally? Or are you receiving this info 2nd or 3rd hand? If so I would be checking your sources and wouldn't be coming out with ridiculous calls like this.

If anything, Carpo is known to be pretty frugal when it comes to finances...

Carpo Snr, although I wouldn't be surprised if young Rocco followed in dad's footsteps. Both great blokes too.

I've been impressed with what I've seen from Broadview. Some very young, but talented players in the group - apart from a couple who are the wrong side of 35. I thought they'd struggle early but have been quite good.
Salisbury North must have a good weights program? They've got some good size and will be tough to beat - esp at home.

Despite the scoreline on Saturday, I was quite impressed with Broadview too. I don't think they have any out-and-out stars, but have a decent spread of talent.

To be honest, I've never heard of them. That's not intended to mean any disrespect by the way.

^^

Greiger as well who was missing on Saturday, Weed is doing a great job as well and the players are right behind him, as said alot of kids in the side but with a fair bit of talent.

2013 may not well be the year of the Tigers but beware in the coming years, alot on this side have played footy at Broadview since they kicked a footy and have the club at heart

I agree with you there. They do seem like a good, tight knit club with a ton of upside.
