Round 7 Discussion

Postby the wonder elephant » Tue May 07, 2013 2:41 pm

Looks to be a tough week with a lot of 50 50 games gonna be tough to find the right captian (or vice  )Finally get to trade out Tex Walker but who to bring in was looking at Andrew Walker seems to be enjoying playing under Mick and is scoring well . Any other thoughts peeps ?

I think he started well last year too before fading later in the season (may have been due to injury).

How about Dale Thomas or Mitch Robinson for Walker?

Priddis looking juicy, but his sub-affected score will sit in his rolling average for one more game.

Yeah read it too, stated himself he'll be back for the Port game.

Carnage again in defence with Gibbs, Waters and Goodes certain outs. Pittard a 50/50 chance of playing and L.Brown and Stevenson spudding it up and could be on the chopping block. Thinking I won't trade this week and cop a loss

Gibbs a certain out? sauce? I've looked around and seen nothing about him saying he is going to miss again. Remember the Bluebaggers are playing on Monday night.

Will probably downgrade Heath or Stevenson for either Docherty or Clarke this week, depending on selections.

Not sure who to target as an upgrade - I'm not convinced yet about Daisy Thomas or Lester though, might just go for one of the old favourites.

I'll look at getting Buddy in next week just before he plays GWS, Gold Coast and Melbourne.

Will also be using the Captaincy loophole for the first time this weekend I've been nowhere near a computer for the last four weekends :(

Making two changes this week.

IN: Lester (Will go up a heap in price) and Hodge (Starting to find his feet again)
OUT: Terlich (Not going to make much more money for me, was either him or Heath) and Redden (Struggled so far for the Lions)

So my side is starting to take shape. With Gibbs and Goodes returning next week, it will start to look a lot stronger.

DEF: Birchall, Goddard, Hartlett, Taylor, Lester, Heath (Docherty, Valtsuin)
MIDS: Ablett, Swan, Hodge, Wines, O'Meara, Evans, Kommer, Viney (Gibbs, Goodes)
Rucks: Cox, Luenberger (Rowe, Blivcas)
FWDS: Bartel, Rockliff, Kennedy, Roughead, Franklin, Neade (Macaffer, Dwyer)

Reckon I need 3-4 more upgrades and my side will be set!

You need to get cracking on that midfield, it's very weak.
