Losing by a point is never fun.
Both teams battled hard right til the final siren
Nick Wark is a gun

Great win for the Jetters!
Thought we dominated the game but tried hard to lose it with our goal kicking particularly in the 3rd, Salisbury doing the opposite and couldn't miss.
And good wins for our 2's over the last couple of weeks against top sides after a couple of pretty poor games early.
Warky's a nuff.

Big win for Scotch over Mitcham! Didn't expect it to be that one sided, what happened?

Mitcham have been on the wrong side of a couple of beltings which suggest there probably not that good.

So anyone willing to give us some odds on mail medallist favourites, albeit very early season form... From the games I've seen and read in the paper thus far: both Cahills at scotch, locheal and Hynes (plus one or two others) seaton, J Allen Willment and Sheedy at Athelstone, Jolly and Nunn at Pnu, C Barmby and Geoffie Tume Salisbury, big Wark Unley, goalscoring machine Evans or holbrook at Pembroke. Don't know much else about EPark Mitcham or old Iggs at this stage.
Divvy 3 thread bit quiet this year!

Surely the sheep isn't a chance of winning the medal? Really good forward but seriously?

not associated with Unley myself, but generally that happens when a player hasn't paid previous year's subs.

Could Plympton's club secretary not call the Unley club secretary to find out?

Big Congrats to Adam Rowett a man who has surrounded himself in controversy over the years but this weekend i have been told he will play his 100th club game for PNU =D> . He is versatile and definitely goes both ways front and back
Hopefully he can find a set of Mitcham shoulders this weekend to fly upon and celebrate his milestone.

Also recieved a text that new recruit Josh Davis who came to the club as "The General" according to Paul Lowe on last years GrassRoots Footy show has been re-labelled and will now be reffered to as "The Sherrif". His gun control and authoratitive display in The Alma was a sight to behold. He is firm but fair and keeps his gun holstered despite the many ladies attempting to sway him into seeing it shoot. "The Sherrif" has also been a real bonus on the footy field with his good consistent form turning away many forward thrusts on the field and off it. :)
