Back to the game

Only saw the first half, where do people think North won the game.North seemed to penetrate Norwoods defence quite easily

Well done to the Roosters. Their attacking style, not smothered by Norwood's ultra defensive tactics.

Wrote out a lengthy reply then lost it lol.

So in a nutshell, North worked harder for longer than us, broke the lines and carried better than us, and were far better skilled.

All equals vastly more efficient than us.

Its easy to forget we actually had more scoring shots. We couldnt kick a goal and they couldnt miss. Their skills by foot were far superior and we were under constant pressure and turned the ball over way too much.
They seemed to run all day where as we resorted to that crappy handball game that goes nowhere.

There is a differance but after playing 2 loose men in defence from the first bounce of the GF you would fully understand that

A bit like saying Norwood are good at finals, but not when they play the better teams.

Norwood is yet to play a decent (and full) game this year mate! Every match we have struggled through IMHO. We may be the reigning Premiers but 12 premiership players were missing today, and add that to a number of reserves players from a side that finished second last year, you can see the team is struggling to click. Poor skill execution (all year) doesn't help either. For all our player losses, we barely recruited to cover them either (Craig Evans, Baulderstone, the Wilson boys and Davis is about it) so no wonder we have been struggling along.

I didn't get to the game today FWIW so I'm not in a position to proclaim North as Premiership favourites but maybe that's a tag they should be wearing. I'm happy for us to be underdogs for a while again.

No way are we thinking we are Premiership favourites but nice to be higher up in top 3 than around 5th or 6th with a few other clubs. Showing a bit more consistency this year than we have in past 2 seasons but we haven't played 4 quarters of consitent football yet either.

There would be a huge crowd watching the 2 am replays of SANFL interstate

It's live into the territory. Congrats on your first non crow comment and congratulating north on the win.

Baulderstone was a huge loss today and I believe he is still 3-4 away.
Am confident we will get it together, feel we are only a few players away from being a very good side again.
