When people make public apologies along the line of

You wouldn't be apologizing if nobody was offended so why use the word if?

finding out the hard way my gas isn't working this morning- neither the hot water service or cooktop is working. Called Origin to make sure my bill was paid and they said that I had to call my supplier to get someone to come and have a look at it.

Can't get hold of anyone at investra and get hung up on when I called the emergency leak line because it's not an emergency - even though it was the number I was given to call.

Call origin again - and they insist they can't do anything and give me 2 more numbers to try - one was the origin payment line

That's what I thought but I've called my neighbour and both his HWS and stove is working fine...

Every house, flat etc. has it's own valve to turn off individual properties. Could be someone has switched off yours by mistake or being a douche. Some wanker was switching off our power because the meter readers weren't locking the main box out the front.

Thats good to know and TBH I wouldn't know where to look to see if it was switched on or not.

I got my best mate to drop the spare key off to my next door neighbour - and he managed to get the stove working.

It looks like there might have been an outage at some point yesterday but now the igniter on the HWS isn't doing anything - there is literally not even any sound of gas coming through it.

If I have to replace a bloody HWS just before I sell my house I'll be mega-pissed, it's only just short of 10 years old, I replaced it in November 2013 and I live alone so it's not like it works overtime or anything..
