We've beaten 2 teams in poor form the last fortnight and couldn't even beat port who are borderline woeful. Add to this no Kirkby and likely to lose McKernan, Lyons and possibly Logan to the afl, I can't see us getting close.

Beat North who are the third best side, lost to Norwood by 4 goal and were leading them at half time without our two best players, and beat South the week before those two games by 100+. Think our form is a lot better!

Lost a huge amount in the engine room though - birss, laird, fielke, tuck, (and then the afl players from rds1-3 cassisi and gray)
Silly move by crows last week not to let Porplycia play with west - he needed a run and now if picked by crows this week, he missed a week of footy when match practise would have been invaluable - Who will he play for this week?

For a club with about 200 regular supporters West Adelaide certainly cause a lot of trouble..... more trouble than they are worth. They certainly don't trouble the trophy engravers very often.

What's that got to do with their game against Glenelg this week?

SDK - what is your problem with West Adelaide? You seem to have a chip on your shoulder when reading your posts. There is a common theme with your posts and west. Did something happen to you at a west game in the past. I have many Norwood friends and attend games regularly with them when West play norwood. Two of these coached junior sides at Norwood and they even asked what your problem is

West fairly comfortably, around the 6 goal mark .. Do think Glenelg are headed in the right direction, but they need to get more games into their kids.

Bays by 2-3 goals

Been playing crap footy but still winning (some say that is a good sign - winning ugly).

Looking forward to seeing the Boys put it together in a four quarter effort on Fri night.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I thought Travis Tuck had a broken finger?

EDIT: I just read the SANFL site, with the teams listed, and read the following:

Great to see Simon Dean named in the squad, at least. Would be great if he got a League game...

Made his League debut back in '04, I think, as just a 16 year old. Left the club for a while, had a lot of injuries, and is now back...

Good luck to him, if he makes the final 21...

He deserves to play, has had so many injuries in the last few years and he has had good reserves form.
