Rnd 6: North v Norwood @ Prospect Oval (Sat 4/5)

Postby Big Phil » Sun Apr 28, 2013 9:30 pm

The Roosters had a pretty comfortable win on the road, against the Panthers, and will be looking forward to testing themselves at home against the top-of-the-table Redlegs. Norwood played a very good secons half on ANZAC Day, comfortably beating Westies in the end. This corresponding game last year saw North get up.

Why not? You guys are a good chance, if you continue to play good footy and pressure the Norwood ball carriers...

Was being sarcastic. One of only 3 North games on ABC this year. Should be a beauty.

How long has it been since North have had a home game on TV? Seems like a while.

North vs Glenelg the end of July last year was on the TV as was North vs Norwood last June. Also last year North vs Eagles in about round 5 and North vs Glenelg in round 3 were on TV, so 4 out of North's 10 home games were on TV which actually is well above average.

I have mentioned before that I think that it's a shame that this game clashes with the Crows. Last year got over 4,000 at Prospect and it was televised. This year North are promising more so I would have thought the game would have got close to 6,000 if it wasn't against the Crows.

Don't despair mate.
Apparently it's Port that are 'the real deal' at 5-0 and the Crows are in a slump at 2-3 and now Walker's injury. People might all start to jump off the Crows' juggernaut this week!

Expect a BIG out for the Redlegs on Saturday, making me feel a little more comfortable with tipping the Roosters, just.

Yes, I'm aware of Bode being out. It's not Jace I'm talking about...

The guy I'm talking about is Sam Baulderstone. Apparently hurt his hand at work, as a plumber, and could be out for over a month...

Big blow for the Redlegs as the big fella was playing quite well and getting his midfield first hand on the footy...

We owe North Adelaide for the one loss at the chicken roost last year, game we should have won.

Redlegs by 28 points.
