On a fiery day at The Parade, a teenage boy was injured in an unrelated incident after he was innocently caught up in a fight between two supporters after the game.

Norwood chief executive Geoff Baynes said the boy, believed to be 14, suffered bruised legs when one of the men fell on him by the boundary line fence near the southern grandstand.

Baynes said the club advised the boy's parents to take him to a doctor and Norwood's ground manager made contact with the family yesterday. A full report into the incident is being prepared.
