agreed, I had 7 putts after the first 2 holes on Saturday. Managed to keep it to 33 for the round which I was happy with.

Too true. I would say inside 150 is my preferred spot to be. If I leave it well from the tee I am going to go close with my second.

No score over 7 is a good start, your Par 3's killed you however, any common thread on those holes? i.e. tee shots

1st par 3 - tee shot to the left of green in rough and chip shot was diabolical

the 2nd par 3 the tee shot rolled down the hilll my second shot to chip up didnt get up and rolled back down!!

3rd par 3 tee shot was pin high just to the left but the pace of the green caught me out a tad.

Last par 3 ended up pin high in bunker but got it out in one but missed a poor 2 metre putt for 4

didnt get a chance for a full round - did 12 holes

played fairly ordinary but then there were some shots that just effortlessly flew beautifully

putting was fairly solid

Had 90 this arvo. Was 1 under the handicap after nine then couldn't get out of a fairway bunker on the 11th. Things unraveled from there

I played with a guy who hits off 9 and he had an 80. Remarkable stuff.

What a nightmare of a day condition wise. Wasn't that unhappy with how I hit them either but hell. Lol.

Bunkers can suck a fat one

Have just won a silent auction for 4 people & 2 carts at Grange.
Poor, poor luck for that hallowed turf. Gonna chop it up something fierce. ;)

played yesterday before mothers day lunch. Rolled my ankle saturday so got a cart.
Finished the day with 35pts, that was with 2 scratches on the back 9 and also about 3-4 one point holes. had about 7 pars for the day.
Was pretty happy with the score as have struggled lately to score.

I used to be. Course isn't it good condition at the moment. Recent rain may have helped but I won't be back there for a while.

Actually playing the pat for the first time on Sunday. Anyone know how it's going?
