The situation hasn't changed since you bought your season tickets and presumably you were OK with it then ...
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

I have my magpies season ticket (h&a) so it doesn't bother me, just means I can get a couple of mates in free using the power tickets.

If you have a Power Season Ticket (ie outside of AAMI Staium Members) show the ticket to the SANFL ticket booth
and get a free ticket to get into Woodville

If you have a single ticket to the Power v West Coast same applies, as does if you are a AFL member to AAMI Stadium.

Now if you are in the AAMI Stadium Members either as Premium (6) or Power Essential (4) you get free entry to a
certain number of SANFL games of which this can be one.

Any kids are free to SANFL anyway.

All up whatever ticket you have for AAMI on Saturday Night you get free entry to Woodville Saturday Afternoon.

I think that covers it.

So once again those who pay the most, ie. Premium and Power essential MEMBERS (of which I have both) get screwed.

Included SANFL games aren't free, we pay for them as part of our Members package. As far as I'm concerned, while everyone else gets in for nothing, this game costs me $14. Because once my 6 allocated games are gone, they're gone.

This is just embarrassing to read. What an idiot.

Clearly the Eagles (thanks to PhilH I imagine), are trying to get more people to watch the SANFL game. The people who are benefiting are generally Port supporters, as I doubt too many Eagles people would be interested in going to the AFL match.

It is worth a try to get more people through the gate. The Eagles may benefit from having more people for catering and might win a supporter or two who are West Coast fans. Overall though, the Port people benefit.

PhilH is looking at the big picture, you are looking at yourself. Criticising this move is just plain dumb on your behalf.

SANFL members also pay for some AFL games as part of their membership, many of whom have no interest in going to them.

Wow.

Seems some in society these days thinks they’re entitled to everything for nothing.

And then we wonder why clubs don’t try more initiatives like this.

How someone can describe this offer as getting screwed is breathtaking.

Let’s be honest – this offer is only really relevant to Port supporters.

Rather than have a good old fashioned sook why don’t you just be grateful that some of your fellow Port fans will get a benefit out of it.

Does this mean you have to pay to get into 80% of Port Magpie games? That sucks. I guess if you are such a dedicated Port person, you could get a Magpies membership also.

It is open to all members related to the AFL game ..... who is paying at the gate?

Everyone who has a ticket for the AFL game
WILL NOT PAY AT WOODVILLE
to get into the SANFL game

Yes some have already prepaid for a membership that enables entry to this game be it
AAMI Stadium Membership or Magpies Season Membership (or WWT Eagles ticket holders who hold AAMI Stadium Membership).

NO ONE IS WORSE OFF BY THIS OFFER
But hopefully plenty will save some money &/or get some extra footy for their ticket.

Unfortunately its the attitude of most these days, encounter it at work all the time. People would rather other people not be better off if they don't get any benefit themselves. Pathetic really.

Let's get back to the discussion of the game itself rather than squabble about who or who can't get free entry to this game. This is a great initiative of Phil H and the Eagles football club, end of story.
