Called the game for 5RPH

Acting North Adelaide co-captain Luke Ivens has accepted a reprimand after being found guilty of making forceful front-on contact with West’s Daniel Webb on Friday night.

Seems like you can run through someone, hit them in the head, not give away a free kick and get off. What a joke. I would have thought someone that wears a helmet would know better.

And you can strike someone, be found guilty and get a reprimand as happened with Aaron Fielke.

Both fair enough given that they were first offences.

Didn't realise anyone got reported until now - Thought it was just a tough affair with some good fair hits from all. Disappointed that any reports were made.

Sad but true. The game was tough and a good example of old style football which the umpires attempted to ruin with soft and often inexplicable frees. The umpiring in the reserves made you think you were watching an under 8 game, where every bit of body contact was penalised.

Oh no someone got run thru on the footy field and didn't get found guilty of any offense , how disappointing and do think that lukes helmet makes him smarter than footballer without helmets. Maybe you could wear one prior to posting and we wouldn't be replying to this dribble !!

I would have though that if you put your head over the ball it should be protected.

And Trent the only time you put your head over a ball was on Saturday night.
